Dealing with the fear of change within ourselves

Living the rest of your life the way that you want or living the rest of your life the way that you need is my new motto. So often, we find fear in trying to change ourselves. We think that we will become a different person on the inside if we change how we are on the outside.
Dealing with these emotions on a daily basis hinders the way that we want to live our lives. But it doesn't have to feel this way. Just because we may look in the mirror at our changing bodies does not mean that our inner-self has changed how we feel about the way we want to live our lives.
Change is good. We are good. Our life is good. We are not the same people emotionally because we feel better, we look better, we live better. We are a better version of ourselves. Change is nothing to fear, but to embrace.
Each of us on our health happiness path has something we want to change, whether it be our emotional or our physical well-being. In weight loss it involves both. And it can become quite the scary ride, as we try to focus on our issues along the way. But the good news is at the end of that ride, we have found that perfect end to being happy, healthy and fulfilled in our lives.
The path less taken will be the path we want the most at the end of our journey. We need balance in our lives along the way. If one day turns out to be disappointing, it gives us the balance we need to make changes the next day. Our health happiness does not have to be challenged if we don't let it be.
Take one day at a time, one step at a time, one change at a time and we can reach the end of our health happiness journey without any fear at all.

I'm convinced fear has held me back from this journey. I'm trying to remain aware so it doesn't any longer.

We can give into fear if we let it. Attitude is everything! I was afraid also. Afraid that I would become a different person if I lost all of my weight and became healthy! I was hiding in my overweight body so that the real me didn't need to come out. To protect myself and my feelings. It was only when I realized that the real me was always there, just hiding under all my body armor, afraid to come out, did I harness that inner goddess and set myself free! We can all harness that inner goddess. It's not fear that is holding us back but our attitude. Set yourself free and become the person you were meant to be!
