Up early for a flight to Houston. Waiting for my uber.
Sold Ron's car last night to his dad then dropped off his extra car at SIL. I assume he will give it to her. Had a quick supper at little king subs then finally home to pack.
AC was out at the house when we got home. Our regular guy cant come until Wednesday so glad i am flying out today. Not terrible in the basement but upstairs is 85.

My, you are up early Steph. Safe travels. 85 degrees is a bit warm.
Installed window AC unit yesterday in bedroom yesterday. Ran it during the day at 78 degrees. Mainly to just cut the humidity. Turned it off once sun went down and temps outside dropped. DW and I prefer a window fan to AC at night.
Got a ton of rain yesterday. Some thunder storm activity too. Did not have to water straw bale garden.

Morning - hot hot and humid here yesterday! Amen for fans! Today's presentation in an older classroom building with (you guessed it) no a/c! Fortunately its only supposed to reach 77 but the rain has brought high humidity. Ugh!
Congrats on the car issues, Steph! Safe trek! I saw East Coast got pummeled with 60mph winds and rain and hail yesterday. Insane!
Three more days and I'm on a flight home. I'm ready. Miss DW and my routine....And of course, SBUX TOO!

Good morning.
85 here today.
Ds didn't get out of bed to weigh in kSt night so we're going tonight. I can tell he's lost weight. I'm so proud of him.
Sally is really showing her age and is " leaking" some. How gross.
We threw away the area rug in the family room. Now we're down to one carpeted area.
Not much else going on. I'm just busier than a one armed wallpaper hanger. Or a one legged man in a butt kicking contest!! Ha. At least I can still crack myself up.

88F hot (for Pac NW) hilly bike ride. DD doing better after gaĺl bladder surgery and double mastectomy. Radiation going ok. Took me out for mini golf Father's Day.0

Good Morning BBB.
Up late last night working. Slept in this morning until 6:30 - wow!
We are window fan people too. The AC is only for consecutive hot days when the heat and humidity build up - the oak trees' shade keeps our house cool through most conditions. Love open windows and feeling like we are living in a screened building.
Coffee is extra good this morning. Mold and pollen are high so I'll probably take an extra dose of oils later to ward off allergy symptoms.
Car show tonight - I hope it doesn't rain on our fun. If the clouds roll in we can always bail and go home.
Kelly - thanks for the visuals - I'm smiling thinking of your crazy busy life!
Bob - prayers continue for your DD.

Perfect morning here weather wise, too bad I'm in my office. DS1 is out on west coast in LA this week, with triple digits - yuck no thanks!
Glad DD is doing good Bob, that is sooo much to be going through, yet she still had a mini round with you on Sunday, that's great!
Sounds like Ms. Sally needs a diaper, Kelly?
I need to get a eye sleep mask, any fan going at night does further irritation to my eyes, with this eye disease I have - uugghhh.

Good morning.
Continuing ed classes today and tomorrow. I'd ask for prayers, but I realize that there are people that might have it a bit worse than me. I'll at least have an unlimited supply of coffee and Diet Coke.
And I was quite diet-righteous this morning. The conference has bagels and donuts and all kinds of cräp for breakfast. I walked across the street and got the Egg White McMuffin (no bacon) instead and saved a pantload of points.1 -

Good cardiologist visit yesterday, do not have to see him again for 6 months; he says I need more exercise, opposite of what rheumatologist says; got him to put off stress test another 6 months.
Lisa, praying for DD25. We all deal with stress differently, all I can say is know that God does not give us more than we can handle, plus he will take the burden if we will allow him.
I rely upon Matthew 6:25-34; worry is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do but get you nowhere. Thought I was having an anxiety attack once, but learned it was heart issues; stress can cause all sorts of health issues.

It is not easy keeping our grown youngins straight and at times we wonder what the heck they were looking at when they choose their life partner. And why does one believe they can change another. I know my kids did not like me saying it but one needs to look at ones parents and how they were raised as well as what values were instilled.

We got 4 1/2 inches of rain last night and expecting another 2" today.
Finally getting some ripe tomatoes.
Today and 3 more days till vacation begins, off June 24 through July 4th. Going to St. George Island FL for week.

- To quote Kelly, I'm busier than a one armed paper hanger.
- We actually have a one armed photographer on staff. His name is Hook. He lost his arm to a hand grenade accident at Ft. Benning.
- Our dorm room is cold enough to hang meat in. My roomate sleeps with a fleece jacket on.
- Flags are flying at half staff in GA today in honor of one of the prison guards who was killed last week when the prisoners escaped. His funeral is today and the Gov. made a proclamation. It gives us a good opportunity to have discussions with the boys.
- I better get back to work.
