It will be so amazing to keep the same sized clothes for one year !
I've always allowed myself to eat my exercise calories, I gauge it sometimes on if I am actually hungry as well. I think on days you exercise more you get hungrier generally - so I find this approach worked for me. I have met people who never ate their exercise points, so it is as individual as you are.
Over many years, I've read a lot on diet, weight and psychology around eating. When I think of humans, we are all so different, we don't like the same food, clothes, seasons and our bodies are different too. So I just encourage people to do what feels good for them - provided it is not harmful!
As for my actually general update - today was a pass day
I did track everything but I went over through stress eating.
I got upset at my new job as my new boss let her frustration out at me. So I was feeling upset and looked for the answer in the vending machine. Even though there are no answers in the vending machine - I did try a few times though, just incase there was an answer there. (kidding)
Tomorrow is a new day, and I will start again.3 -
yes x 3
I eat my exercise calories back. I try not to and I've started logging my exercise at the end of the day so I don't eat those calories. I am only 3 weeks into my weight loss journey so I am still learning to moderate.2 -

had a good day today. Did get to go to a pool today. Took it very easy(like I had a choice..lol) it is so much easier to walk in water, did not hurt at all. Any time I even felt a twinge I stopped for a bit. Could not do the balance walking exercise yet as I felt it in my back but I could walk back and forth no problem..........It felt sooooooo good and I am not hurting any more than regular this morning. Which means I can go back on Monday....woohoo I also then got to go in the hot tub for a bit I just could not sit in front of a jet. I find the hot tub feels so healing and is such a treat after working in the pool. I always call it my reward......lol
@everyone I am so impressed with the sharing and positive encouragement I am reading on here. We have all had our challenges along the way and we all have to pick the course that works for us. My rule with eating back my calories is that they are there for me to use IF I want. I still plan around the budget I was given and most days stay within that but if I want to go for dinner or have a dessert I will do that knowing I am covered. To me the main thing is that I chart absolutely EVERYTHING! So I can see it in writing and be able to review my day, especially if I had a stressful or even very successful day!
WE ARE WINNING THIS BATTLE! For some reason I am thinking of the quote there is no "I" in team. This is so true in this group as it is not about just doing what I want. It is about sharing our journeys and helping others through encouragement, recognition, positive attitudes and just plain CARING! @everyone thank you so much for being part of our team! I truly believe that finding this group has helped me to succeed and make the best choices for me, while having fun along the way!
Leaving you with something to think about.
"IF I BELIEVE I CAN, I CAN"
"IF I BELIEVE I CAN'T, I CAN'T"
IT IS OUR CHOICE TO MAKE!
