Today is my favorite kind of day!! This afternoon, I will have two horses busy with lots of kids getting a chance to ride. We lead the horses. My oldest granddaughter, Lucy, who loves to ride will help me lead horses. I've got extra help for the extra kids who will be at the farm. The Canadian kids will be riding too.
Have a great day!!

July 7th
Exercised?: Yes
Calories?: Yes.
Tracked?: Yes
1585 calories burnt, calories tracked and under my limit.
My daughters prom night tonight, so been busy helping her to get ready, she's just left so hope she has a great evening.
It's been a busy day here all round, so haven't stopped. Now gonna get my feet up!
Enjoy the rest of your day everyone.8 -
Pass #1.
I'm sure some of you will disagree with me on this and that's fine. It's the beauty of mfp and uac that we can find our own path... So I went to a funeral this afternoon. It was a mad rush to get there in time after work and afterwards there was a reception at a local hotel. Now, yes I could have not eaten anything but I chose to have a little out of respect. It went filling so I've just had a light snack now I'm back at home for my dinner and it's taken me over my calories.
Tracking: everything. Including as well as above the tea spoonful of frozen strawberry yoghurt I made with the children at school. Or they made with my supervision! Their little expectant faces would have been so disapointed (so yes, more eating to please others!)
Exercise: iffy. A mad dash power walking to daycare, to work, to the church, to the hotel, to daycare and a more leisurely walk home. It's 7.20 and ideally I'll do a workout DVD before bed. In reality bedtime might be at 8pm!
Calories:over but not massively.
@gus130 hope today went ok. And the days that follow. Take care.
@trixsey1 hope she enjoys!

@Gus130 You are in my thoughts today....you are an inspiration to me.
@am_change you are right. I think every one of us got to this point in our lives experiencing most things people struggle with. I am sure I would have done the same thing in both situations. Either way you would be supported in your choices! We are here to share your journey, not judge it! You are doing amazing, love to read your posts!
@trixsey1 WOW what a burn! 1585 calories! Hope your daughter enjoys her prom, I remember those days VERY busy!
@Dosse1320 You are always so positive and supportive. Great post!
@debodom1962 You are doing awesome. Keep going with the same attitude. Love the big smile in your profile picture.........
@2020pinktogo Good job yesterday. Hope today is the best it can be. Glad you are awake though....lol
@RangerRickL You continue to amaze me! Wow! You and Rose are definitely community people. AMAZING! Glad the Canadian are joining in....LOL
@everyone you guys continue to inspire me EVERY DAY. We all have our struggles one way or the other but being a part of this group has inspired me to do things I never thought possible. I have lost 26.8lbs to date. Had major surgery last month and worked very hard to stay true to me and not use it as an excuse to give up. Without you guys I am not sure I could have done it. I am now 3 weeks past surgery and healing very well. Once the spine recovers I could be pain free and still going strong on this challenge. A BIG HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO EVERYONE!
WE ARE ROCKING THIS!
@RangerRickL do you see the pompoms yet......LOL

My hip is still getting better every day and I believe the more weight I lose the better it will become, also I am within touching distance of my first target (to reach onederland) weighing 200.4 lbs this morning and yesterday morning, I am praying its going to be in the next week when I can see a 1 in front of my weight!!

Exercise: 30 min walk with the dog. She's now expecting me to take her as soon as we get home! 30 min yoga
Calories: Under goal
Tacked: Yup
30 day yoga: day 7
Miles: 20.55
Lesson Learned: I usually take several healthy snack to work (a 9 hour day) but today I had a small breakfast and a small lunch and I didn't have to many tummy grumblies with only 1/2 c unsweetened natural applesauce in the afternoon. It felt weird but it was a good thing.6 -
Thank you for the kind wishes. It was a long day: from 8 am until 4:30 with blood work and my 5 chemo drugs but I feel good tonight. Yes yes, yes9

Exercise: yes, biceps, chest, tricep challenge, guts/glutes challenge, row 2000m. struggled to finish today but I persevered!
Calories: yes
Tracked: yes5 -
I am taking today as my Pass Day 1. I just do not have the energy or inclination to exercise today. I feel like I'm struggling a little to stay focused, but only because I don't feel like I'm as far along as I should be. But I'm going to take a deep breath and pick myself up, dust off and get my butt moving in the morning.
I did track and keep under my calories but for the most part, my day wasn't as healthy as it should be. The sugar dragon is taking control again and I have to get it back under control. When I return from vacation I'll really need to work on that.
@Gus130 so happy to hear you are doing well.4 -
@Gus130 Wishing you strength to get through this.
@Slimpossible007 Congratulations! You'll see a 1 on that scale soon!
Exercise: walks on break and lunch, 3/4 mile run, 20 minutes of stationary bike
Calories: barely scraped by with 5 calories under goal. I just got so hungry after the exercise
Tracked: yes5 -
Fridays are so difficult.
July 7:
Exercise?: Ran intervals this morning, 35 minutes (well, 10 minute warm up, 15 minutes of intervals, and 10 minute cool down.) Plus the usual walking that comes from living in New York, including 14 minutes in the rain without an umbrella.
Plank?: Yes. 7/7 so far on that.
Calories? Yes, with 137 to spare. If I hadn't done cardio this morning, I'd have been over. But that was by design, since I know Fridays are so difficult.
Tracked? Yes. All 12 gummy bears before lunch were included.5 -

@Gus130 What great news to hear that even with all you had going today, your feeling good. I'm so happy for you! May you have many many more days ahead when you're feeling good and conquering, my friend.
@debodom1962 I'm speaking from personal experience when I say I want to encourage you to be gentle with yourself about not being as far along as you wanted to be. Remember to celebrate every victory. Don't measure them too strictly. If you see room for improvement, make the necessary adjustments. But ultimately you need YOU to be one of your greatest cheerleaders. You're sure to succeed if so. Sometimes your being too tired to exercise is your body's way of saying you need rest instead. Keep listening. Like you said, get back to it when the sun rises tomorrow. You're killingly it girl! Great job tracking and keeping to your calorie goal. That's a big deal!
3 yeses today, but I barely skated in on my calorie goal today. I was too close for comfort to going over. I will definitely pay closer attention tomorrow. Thank you friends!5 -

On holiday with family, little time to read and reply, but still keeping to plan.
5:00am start and 7 hours travel (2 by plane and 4 by car) with family is exhausting. Fortunately no hassles. Well worth the effort.
Sisters 50th celebration today.
Hopefully a photo or two from Frazer Island tomorrow.7 -
@RangerRickL That sounds like so much fun! I love horses and hope one day to have one of my own to ride. I hope your day has been filled with wonderful moments!

I'm so excited for tomorrow--I'll be meeting with a violin instructor to discuss taking lessons. I've wanted to play for over ten years, and as a reward to myself for an achievement earlier this year, I finally bought a violin. Unfortunately, I discovered just this morning that my violin (untouched for a month!) has loose strings (the pegs slipped), so I'll have to get that fixed, but hopefully everything else will go well!5 -

We have pass days for a reason, sometimes we just need them. Congrats on checking in, we can all make it one day at a time.

Yes, yes and yes. Glad it's Friday!5 -
Thanks for all of the good wishes, today was a wonderful. We had 7 city girls here. All were black or brown, except my 11 year old granddaughter, Lucy, who I deputized as my head wrangler. She did great with the younger girls. Lots and lots of walking with the horses. All of those kids were perfect!!! And the horses were perfect too. It was a beautiful summer day at 84 degrees F, with a brisk breeze. In the evening, we fixed hot dogs over a fire and then the finale was S'mores a very un-MFP dessert. Since, it is made with gluten full graham crackers, I just ate 1/3 of a Hershey bar and I was sooo happy!
Calories: good margin below limit
Exercise; Sheesh! Several hours of outdoor activity
Tracking: ok9
