Hello Ladies! Just a question, when do you plan on working out after baby? I had a c-section on 7/17. I have a 6 week restriction and can't lift more than 5-10lbs. I am taking walks in the morning however I am really slow AND I can't go very far. :-/ Slow and steady wins the race!!

I can't imagine the recovery with a c-section! I'm impressed you're going for walks! Keep up the good work! =) I had a normal delivery and started walking the day after being discharged from the hospital...very slowly! Now at 2 weeks pp I plan to do some of the easier prenatal workouts that I wouldn't do while I was pregnant because I found them extremely boring. At 4 weeks I'm going to start back at my prenatal kettlebell workouts. Then I'll have a 6 week pp doctor's appointment. If I get the all clear I'll start back on my normal kettlebell workouts and maybe some running depending upon how my body feels.
  • HI!

I also had a c-section and have to wait for my 6wk follow-up on Wed (8.7) for the okay. I think I'll still stick to walking for the remainder of the week (& perhaps throw in some push-ups & core exercises) and then add a mild jog either Sat/Sun later that week. When I feel like I've got the energy & time I'll start TurboFire but until then I think I'll just repurpose my birthing ball ;)

I've never been more excited to work out in my life! It's funny.. I usually dread working out but now I'm so motivated! =) I really hope this motivation doesn't die down. I've only walked at a slow pace 2x week but I totally agree! Slow and steady .. I mean .. it took us 9 months & a miracle to gain all the weight so it may take just the same to lose it (hopefully less) but however long it takes I'm gonna try my best!
