Good morning flowers!!!
@mari_moulin the reason you don't have energy to be active is because you're already very active on the inside. Healing and building new tissues takes a huge amount of effort for your body. Let your body do its thing and listen to your doctor. If anything, this mellow time will get you fired up for all your future workouts.
@2020pinktogo everyone else is having heat waves but we are also experiencing lots of rain. Nature is totally unpredictable.
Yesterday was a nice day, got my walk in while my daughter was in gymnastics class and I have come to realize how much I love it. I listen to podcasts and clear my mind, it's like a meditation. All goals done, another day of my new normal.
Last week I was upset about every single scale fluctuation and was contemplating giving up my daily weighing but I found a better solution to this problem: removing all emotions associated with the number on the scale; no happiness when it goes down and no sadness when it goes up. Treat it like it is, a useless number that tells nothing relevant at the time, its value lies in calculating trends over time. I will give this a try and report back on my results.
Today I'm going to get my cardio in early, eat within my macros, train, do pull-ups and chin-ups, reach my steps and sleep good.
Let's have a fabulous Friday!!!

@danelutza19 yes the scale is a fickle thing, we love it when it goes down and want to smash it to bits when goes up. I use it the same way, weigh daily record it and watch trends.

@Kenda2427 and @danelutza19 you are absolutely right. I am so surprised at how well I've felt pain wise after surgery that I think I'm 100 percent but I am still healing inside. Today I've had a low grade fever all day and I've told my nurse that comes daily. I think I'm fighting a virus as both my husband and son are the same. He told me to give it 2 days and if it doesn't come down I have to see my Doctor. I need to learn to not rush this and take it easy. There is a reason why I was put on medical leave for a month. Just tired of sitting here doing nothing.
Hope you are al well today flowers. Good luck achieving all your goals for today. Xxx1
