Good morning flowers!!!
I looked back at the threads from two days ago and realized I missed @TerriRichardson112 's post. I'm really sorry about your loss. May life be kind to all those affected.
Yesterday I got all my goals checked. My daughter had her gymnastics class and I had time to take my long walk;
I like listening to fitness podcasts and stumbled upon an interesting one. The main points of the talk were that cardio needs to be performed at least twice a week to generate positive cardiovascular adaptations and at least 4 times a week to influence changes in body composition. Other observations were regarding general conditions that facilitate fat loss: good sleep and a balanced life stress level. This is something we all know already, if we are stressed, angry or sad, we don't do so well. They explained that when we are in challenging situations, the hunger hormone ( ghrelin) increases by 15% while the satiety levels of leptin decrease by 15%.
Goes to show that, just like I always knew, fat loss shouldn't be a battle of will, as much as it should be a constant effort to keep a healthy lifestyle throughout the day, balancing nutrients, emotions, activity and sleep.
Back to today's goals: I want to eat within my macros, train, chin-ups and pull-ups, cardio, steps, water and some great sleep.
Let's have a fabulous Wednesday!!!

@danelutza19 You're so right about it being a constant effort! And so many factors affect our progress. And I agree that you need to balance so many things. It's no wonder we lose sight of the ball at times.
