i just made a facebook group called Down with the Pounds, Up with Friends. i'm inviting everyone here to go join. i'm going to make it a fun group with tips, recipes, support, encouragement and friends.

    Hi again! One question, what are the settings? Is it a "secret" group, where nobody can see posts and cannot find it at all, cannot see members? Just curious, I'm a member of two other FB pages, but only because they are secret and not open for anyone other than members to see!! :)

    My surgery is not a secret, I've told many about it, BUT, I do not tell everyone. I pick and choose.....I may have over 300 "friends" on my FB page, but I assure you, they are not all my friends. LOL Some I haven't seen since HS. I graduated in '78!!! See what I mean??!!! :)

    Let me know, if it is secret, I'd love to join in!!! - stacy

    I too am looking for a secret group on FB, no just closed. I don't want my FB community to know or be able to see that I'm a member of the group. Any suggestions?

    i know that it is a closed group. but it is not a secret group. i never thought about making it a secret group. it is a nice, supportive group filled with my personal friends, their friends and people from here on mfp. give us a shot. it's called Down with the Pounds, Up with Friends.

    That's cool, I'll take a look. Does that mean people can see I'm in the group but can't see the posts?
