In the beginning a change in diet can seem very daunting. But change, done gradually can lead to big results. I talk about what I used to eat and what I now eat in my new blog post. http://wp.me/p8TtRf-qp

How has your diet changed since you started? Did you try to change it all at once? Or did you make small changes as you went along?

My diet tanked while dating my ex (her habits were less than healthy). But up until then, and since that relationship, I focus on buying and consuming fresh produce and continually working on consuming less sugar. Breaking the sugar habit (this was gradual) was game changing, and it has allowed me to cut more and more processed food out.

Recently (the last month or so) I also started cutting out alcohol, which wasn't a part of my diet I'd ever focused on before but which has had the greatest effect on weight loss and energy levels. That was an all-at-once change, which begat other gradual changes.

This has been a years long process of shifting habits. I can't maintain drastic diet shifts for long.

I don't drink a lot but found out just how many calories are in a drink this past 4th as I celebrated with a couple of Harry's Orange soda. That thing has like 250 calories per bottle.
