Make sure you are eating enough protein. Drink bone broth or add collagen powder without food to get enough collagen in to rebuild tissues. Focus on nutrition. Slow any weight loss to a lower rate. Consider adding biotin, silica, diatomaceous earth, iron, boron, zinc, and a other uncommon "hair" supplements. Possibly experiment with essential oil/coconut oil scalp massage, etc.

But truly, it matters most why your hair has thinned... If it is hormonal, getting that balanced is crucial (Inositol and/or Vitex may help, depending). If it is aggressive weight loss, slow it down and focus on maintenance for a while. If it is a co-morbid condition like hypothyroidism, make sure to get ALL of the support nutrients you need for whole body health. If it is an auto-immune trigger, do an AIP diet to remove all problem foods, etc., to reduce your reactions, etc. If it is unknown or stress related, etc., focus on medication, relaxing, taking care of yourself, etc.

Sadly if it's due to PCOS it won't but a dermatologist can possibly help you keep what you have and if there is something else causing it maybe it can be reversed. I use hair fibers and love them for hiding balding. I have done hair pieces but the fibers are more comfortable if you're in a warm climate. Best of luck with your hair.

I recently has issues with hairloss and thinning hair because of a stay at a hospital I had I started to use sulphur free shampoo and conditioner and use coconut oil to massage my scalp and moisturize my hair. I'm not sure if it will work but it helped me from slowing the hair fall.
