Yesterday, I was questioned by a health examiner about my medical history. I have my issues such as asthma, but it was so impactful to listen to the long list of bad health issues that I have never suffered. I am grateful today for the problems that I have.
I hope you are too!

My daughter had a friend over for dinner today, my son had an induction day at college to attend and I needed to catch up with some housework and take care of the "zoo" so it's been a busy but an easy day today.
Managed to squeeze in a walk for the dogs but was a short one, still at least we got out for a little while.

Ladies and gentleman of the UAC I hereby declare I have some news...
In this, my 10th UAC challenge, for the first time I am (drum roll... Dun duh duh daaaaa) in the circle of winners whoop whoop!
So to add to el capitan @RangerRickL s post... Cherish your fellow UACers, they will inspire, support and motivate you. Thanks everyone!
Despite being on holiday with my slightly bizarre mother in law who wants me to over indulge when she doesn't yet admire her weight loss, I've managed to survive and will continue to say no thank you. Even when a large glass of wine I declined is poured I won't drink it and when a huge slice of cake I declined cut for me I won't eat it.
Exercise : 14000 steps, sea swimming, sandcastle building, and just now jogging along the sea front back to the apartment from the restaurant when the heavens opened tonight!12 -
Today I met with the Army Recruiter a Wonderful guy and took my Preasvab and did the tape measurements for enlisting. and I past right on the park tape wise but his Commanding Officer told me that my weight loss could decrease my chances if I continue losing weight as it's possible to make my stomach sag alittle increasing it by an inch I'd fail the tape test
So I've been told by 3 people to stop doing cardio and just work on bodyweight training without weights and use cocobutter to tigthen up my stomach and neck until I ship to basic.
I'm close to my goal and will probably make it by just walking but no hiking for me now oh and I also scored very high on the PreAsvab so tomorrow I go in to take the real test and if I pass I file paperwork go to meps for some basic stuff and then I get orders to ship out for basic in 4-6weeks9 -

I am at another tax law conference today and tomorrow. It's interesting as my job is to legally employ tax reduction strategies. It's similar to legal alchemy. It's my job to create more gold from base metal everyday business situations.
My report for the day is Yes X 3
I'll do better reporting when I am at home4 -

Yes x3. A little over 4km of walking/running. My husband is home after a week away so it was great to be able to get out of the house in the evening and have some time to myself. I would have kept going but the sun went down so fast! I forget how short our days are getting.4

@RangerRickL It's hard to believe when I joined UAC I weighed over 40pounds more than I do now and and managed to stick with counting calories now for over 127days. Thanks for letting this group stay active and continue on, it's helped me and a lot of others so much and I appreciate all that you and the other UAC Members do. Stay Healthy & Happy and keep up the fantastic work it's good to be active at all ages and I hope I'm like you when I'm older.
@Pears734 Thanks for the kind words there's nothing I'd rather do! Keep up the great work and Stay Healthy & Happy.
Edit - Also I intend to stick with UAC up until I'm told it's time to leave for basic so hopefully I'll be able to stay in for majority of September as they're expecting me to ship in around 4weeks I'll find out more tomorrow and after meps.4 -

So many wonderful posts today, next month I am going to challenge myself to respond to people, like y'all do!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Dog walk and an extra four miles
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
I do a daily gratitude list. The top ones are always my husband, my dogs, the health and longevity of my mum, aunt and uncles and my health. I have been blessed with great genes, my mum is 83, my aunt is 86 and they both still walk everywhere and have great social lives, they are incredible role models. After that, I go on to whatever else I feel really blessed about, it could be no red lights on the way to work, the sun shining and it's below 105 degrees, my plants survived and I didn't kill them… the list is often full of really simple things and to some, maybe trivial. It keeps me grounded.6 -
yes x3
Stressful and disappointing day generally. No chance to work chocolate, champagne or cake into today's less active calorie level! But I survived the shock and managed to get a walk down to the beach in at the end of the day.
@am_change Fantastic, amazing succcess sticking around for 10 months shows dedication. " Even when a large glass of wine I declined is poured I won't drink it and when a huge slice of cake I declined cut for me I won't eat it." Good, value yourself.
@SimonsChange Well done on moving towards your goal
@pribud Congratulations on reaching your goal, keep up the good work.4 -

Weighed in. The scale nudged by the pound I needed to get my 5 pound goal for August.
