Hello!

I am on official vacation from my computer starting Monday (for someone who works from home on her computer, this is a big deal)! This means that I will post the tables a week late. S sorry...but self care first, right? I will post the charts in this forum (and will add Wraiythe's from last week then as well).

    I am proud of my 2 days walking in our great park - once with my hubby and once with a dear friend.

    Moments for me include: visit with my mother, sitting by pool visiting with neighbors, shopping for new sheets, finishing a new book, dinner out with my hubby, enjoying a root beer with above dear friend, enjoying the ice cream a new client brought me (and fitting it in my calories!!)

    Self care: walking around park, lunch with a friend, making myself walk when the sun shone during a rainy day, attended all appointments, reading, mowing grass, and paying a handyman to do some heavy gardening and a couple of days of 'don't care with a pity party sitting on my behind with the laptop on my knee playing stupid bubble games. :(

    This was a pretty good week. There are two highlights. I ran/walk 10 miles on Saturday! I did 9 miles the previous weekend, but there is something about the power of double digits. I am training for a marathon. In the past, I completed a marathon without training. I can already see how actually adhering to a training program is paying off--both psychologically and physically.

    Also, I had a small breakthrough on my dissertation and put in work on it almost everyday last week--which is a big deal for me.

    My dad has been in the hospital all week! So I have been there 10-12 hours each day. On 4 days when I got home I put on exercise gear and hit the gym:) the other 3 days I went to bed early:) I tried sleeping in a few days. I went out to dinner with my family on night even though it was late after the hospital:) Loved my salad! My sister and I have eaten salad bar 3 days as it was on special:) YUMMY! Read a few good books:)

    Maintained my weight

    I had a bad week, very unlike my normal diet: takeout Chinese, Dairy Queen and Subway. Somehow I managed to maintain my weight.

    Self care includes 3 raid nights with my guild (we are almost a full clear!), doing laundry and cleaning, taking a huge nap, and skype calls with my friends in Cali, Canada, and Australia.

    I drank water every day, but only got up to either 5 or 6 cups...bummer.

    Oh, heck. Another long weekend at the cottage and who can log with all that grazing going on? I'm not making excuses - just repeating the ones I used at the time.

    Yeah they do sound lame. However I know some things to be true:

    8 cups of water - 6
    2 servings of fruit - 2
    3 servings of vegetables - 5
    logged all foods - 4
    exercised 30 minutes - 2
    exercised 45+ - 4
    practised self-care - 3
    Maintained weight

    (Maintained - I'll take it!)
