I'm running two half marathons in the Fall - October/November. Has anyone used the Map My Run half marathon program? How does it compare to the other programs. It seems to start off with longer distance "long runs" than some of the other programs - I'm 10 weeks out and have a 9.5 mile run this week.

Does it have you back down on the distance after that for a few weeks and then build back up? Or does it keep increasing from there?0

I am doing their 1/2 training program. There are three different levels of difficulty. Are you doing the Intermediate or Advanced program?0

How many miles a week does it have you do? How many quality workouts?
I've only really looked at Hal Higdon's and Pfitzinger's plans. IIRC, Pfitz has higher mileage (50 vs. 30 or so for intermediate runners). Both alternate weekly tempo runs with intervals. Pfitz includes weekly strides and Higdon includes some miles at HMP.0 -
@spiriteagle99 I am running 40 MPW right now. One long run on Sunday, a temp/interval run on Wednesday, and three easy runs.
This month, I have added in a track workout on Fridays with a running group. We do sprint/walk interval things.1
