    Good Morning BBB.
Up early - all day MOBEX - should be a great day, sunny and 80. It is always a great day when Jack and I get to spend the whole day with other task force members training, working and making it fun!
The couple from the open house said they are not going to pull the trigger. They love the house but do not want 2 levels. Back at it again!
I'll try to check in later.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good morning.
That stinks Raine. Yes, back at it. Do you have a realtor ?
Ds2 gave me a little apology. It was a backhanded one at that. He did get his MacBook for school last night.
I mentioned to my friend yesterday that DH and I are going to the eastern carribean. She text me yesterday and said , " we just booked it too". We really have fun with them. DH is fine with it too.
Down about 5 pounds now with Ww. Happy about that.
    Not much else to report.
Sam, your dmil stories make me smile.
Thanks for the input steph. Nude beaches. Ha.
    Make it a great day!!

Kelly - congrats on the weight loss - yes, we have a realtor and he is wonderful. Our house is unique so it takes a special buyer - not like selling a regular subdivision house. It will happen I just get impatient.

    Mornin' BBB.

Congrats on the loss, Kelly. You don't sound satisfied with DS#2's backhanded apology. The argument was over getting a MacBook? Was always too modest for nude beaches even when I was underwear model fit way back in the day.

So sorry Raine. Patience and persistence. Have fun with Jack today!

    Off to work.

    Good Morning,
I generally prefer unusual homes, till you see the track home we have now, that is why our home on lake took so long to sale. In the 55+ section of neighborhood there are only 4 different floor plans.
From pictures I've seen Raine, your home is very lovely and the right person will come along.
Kelly, it is fun looking back and seeing how kids reacted to changes in their lives and how they defer their emotions to parents. Try anything once, nude beach; heavy on sun screen for special spots.
Skip, all set for a new set of hardware?
Glad Rita is better, still did not tell us what you paid doctor to tell her not to talk.
Woke up about 2:30 this morning, sounded like coffee pot had started dripping, went to bathroom then realized it was Sunny snoring, back to bed for a couple more hours.
Dennis, hope you do not have to come into city; schools back in session traffic heavy again.
Continues HOT & HUMID, 78 and lite rain when I left work yesterday, 96 when I got to gym in Madison. Same expected today.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Good Morning!

Raine, sorry about the house contract. Be patient! You will sell it soon.

Kelly, congrats on the weight loss.

Not much else to report here. Going to see my dad tonight. About an hour drive each way. I pick up his mail and check on him about every other week.

Steve, you sound a little overwhelmed. Can you delegate anything? I hear you have a son who needs a job. :) Take care of you while you have the choice! If you don't, you'll HAVE to.
I'm glad you got your apology, Kelly, even if it was half-hearted. I do think this is a common phenomenon as they get ready to move out ... a part of them is already separating. As hard as that is, it's what has to happen for continued growth and happiness.
I envision you sitting in your beautiful yard, listening to birds chirp with a gentle breeze lifting your hair, Mary. Every time we get fresh blueberries (of which we have a 10# box of now), I think of you.
Nude beach? Um, no thank you. People try to take too much off at the scales at WW, and I remind them that they do NOT pay me enough for that. Ha ha! I prefer to see people nicely dressed. Extra credit for bling, too.
Well, SHOOT about those buyers, Raine! Maybe they'll rethink it? Grrrr!
Sam, you were stung on the eye? OW! I hope it's healing well.
Lou, Dh *almost* got into Cecelia's beer this weekend. We need to get it to you while it's still there!
David, that's so sweet that you help your mom out like that!

Dh is doing pretty well. When they got in there, it didn't look great. In fact, it was the worst it's ever been, and he's been having this done since he was 10. In the process of dilation, his esophagus tore, which is making recovery a little longer and more painful. The doctor told him that it's time to start taking this seriously, which means taking his meds (which were doubled) every day and getting into the office for checkups on a regular basis (something he puts off for way too long).

I just finished a painting that I'm sending to my BFF for her birthday next week, to go with her recently re-done master bedroom and bath. I haven't done a painting in a while, and it felt good to be a little creative! I hope she likes it. I wish I'd done a couple things differently, but for the most part, I like it. Don't say anything on FB, because she will see it if you do. I want to surprise her!

Dd21 made it to NM and has got her new little home in order. Her fiance posted on FB when they got there, pictures of both dogs and Dd, with a caption that said, "My heart is whole again." I love this guy! He loves my Dd so beautifully.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Congratulations on the WL Kelly. If you are like me you can lose the same 5# again after vacation.
    • DW and I are meeting old friends for dinner and the Braves game this evening. Raining here most of the day but looks promising for quitting by game time.
    • Have fun with the training Raine. I confess, I had to look up MOBEX.
    • Do you still have the heatwave Bob?
    • Have a great day everyone.

    Morning BBB

Lisa, remind me what is up with Jim's throat, I don't recall whats going on other than this last doc procedure, etc. Hope he heals quick and takes doc orders to heart. DD has her place set up and decorated really nice! You obviously don't have to worry, she's fine! Will she work, school, both ?

Have fun tonite Dennis at the ball park

Raine, it only takes one, it'll happen..... have a good Jack and you day!

Kelly, the vacation sounds really nice. Glad DS is on the right track.

To nice out this week to be stuck in the office, eerrrrrr.

Dd chose to do this partly because all her classes are available online for this semester. So, she will still have a full load, and is scheduled to graduate in May. I don't think she's going to work, since she comes home in November. When she does get back, she'll be able to resume her previous job at Old Navy while she finishes school.

As for Dh, it's a bit of a long story. He was born with a defect in his esophagus. For the first 10 years of life, he didn't keep a single meal down (which I believe has a bit to do with his trim physique and indifferent attitude about food in general). When he was 10, they did what was at that time a very new surgery, and removed the problem section of his esophagus. Unfortunately, this moved his stomach up, and he does not have the flap that most people have that keeps stomach acids in their stomachs. So, he suffers from chronic and very severe acid reflux. As his esophagus fights those acids, it is continually tightening and shrinking in on itself, which results in him choking quite often. So, every year, or even sooner, he has to go in for an endoscopy and dilation. The acids have finally given him Barrett's, which unfortunately increases his risk of cancer. So, when they do the endoscopy, they are always watching for signs of that. So far he's been clear, and we pray that continues forever.

So yeah. There's that. Like I said, he's had this his whole life.

Lisa - wow. Sending positive T&Ps for Jim....what an ordeal to have to keep repeating continually...... You are such a nurturer. He's lucky to have you helping him recover!

Lisa, that stinks for him to go through that so often. Good comeback. Ha.
    No nude beach for me.
The argument wasn't over the MacBook but his gf. I don't get her. Oh well.
