Fitbit Syncing Issues

Hi all. I recently got a fitbit to start tracking my activity, and all has been well for a few weeks. I have had some issues with my fitbit picking up steps/activity when I ride my motorcycle, but up to this point I just log a "driving" activity in the fitbit app and move on, which has been working well to cancel the extra steps/activity thus far.

Yesterday I had just finished some work on my bike and went for a test ride - no big deal, I just logged my riding when I got home again. The problem was after that ride, my fitbit didn't sync with MFP for the rest of the day, which really threw my calorie estimate for the day off. MFP normally estimates my TDEE at 2561. Fitbit is showing 3207 for the day, so I should have a 646 kcal fitbit adjustment. I had a 800 kcal adjustment (since the estimate was at 6:50pm, and I pretty much just lounged around watching TV the rest of the night - it should be lower) this morning. I know that fitbit had synced with MFP when I woke up this morning because I already had a negative adjustment for today, but yesterday's estimate was still at 6:50pm and 146 kcal off. Looking at previous days, my final adjustment for the day tends to happen between 11pm and 12am so it should have synced again - but it didn't. I deleted the adjustment for yesterday and resynced again, following instructions here:

https://myfitnesspal.desk.com/customer/portal/articles/1427466-what-if-data-doesn-t-appear-to-be-syncing-from-fitbit-to-myfitnesspal-

However, it did not re-add the adjustment for yesterday. I even followed the instructions to disconnect fitbit from MFP and relink the two, and still no adjustment. Is there no way to sync a calorie adjustment for previous days?
