So I've hit, "That week."
The one where, on the heavy day of week three, you know you're actually pushing your 10 RM for Every. Single. Exercise.
Next week should be interesting.

I'm there buddy!
Week 3 Heavy crushed me into the ground this morning. With the baby coming in a few weeks and all, I'm seriously considering making this my last cycle.
I'll be sad to go, but realistically I think that unless I start bulking again, I'm going to crash and burn and I'm not down to the bf% I want to be at yet, so a bulk's not going to happen.
But, yeah, next week is actually going to kill me.0 -
Yeah, I'm no where near my LBM target (well... closer than I was, but still a ways off) so I know I'll be repeating a lot of exercises for a lot of cycles while I'm still at a deficit.
You might consider going to two heavy days a week every three or four days, just to keep things up & not lose ground.0 -
You guys are scaring me  I just did my Week 1 Heavy day for cycle 2 this morning....
And jimmmer congrats on the little bubba :flowerforyou:0 -
I did my Cycle2Week1Heavy day today. Because of the dumbell math I had to go 20% more, rather than 10% - it was do-able but just about - and since my back was just about back to normal this week I I was relieved it was only 8 reps for some of the exercises. I was hoping the low reps would compensate the increased weight - but it sort of evened out! So I wonder what Week5 is going to look like, heh!0

Yeah, I had to go up from 15-->20 pounds for my shoulder presses and upright rows this morning since I use dumbbells. I got through the first sets of each exercise okay but then struggled just a touch on the last few reps of my second set. The next couple of weeks will definitely be interesting
paprad I think you and I are 'All Pro Twins' same cycle and weeks...it's nice to have a "partner" :flowerforyou:0 -

Lighter weight twin, though. (dumbbell, I mean, not body  )
my weights are going to be quite low for the next year, but I figured I've gone up 50% since May and 20% since June, so that's progress all right! by the power of compounding, if I keep doing that, I'd be a powerlifter one day, haha (highly unlikely, I know it will steadily drop to 10% in 4 cycles and then stay there when I outgrow my dumbbells)
Those who took a few days off here and there (i read about that in some other thread) - do you then just go back to where you left off and then some other weekday becomes the Heavy day for a while? I feel some OCD-ish compulsion to have Monday as Heavy Day, no matter what, heh0 -

*pats your back*
Oh dear
I often find that D1W3 is the most brutal of the entire cycle, and week 4 feels much better. Maybe that will be the case for you? :flowerforyou:0 -
From the title of this thread I was expecting a somewhat different subject :laugh:0
