I had worried that all my labour over the weekend would interfere with recovery for strength training, and it was worse than I thought. Started my warm up and immediately felt pain behind one knee, so squats and dead lifts were cancelled. I did my bench presses but worried about every little noise my shoulders made. I allowed myself to be 'distracted' watching more video's on form, and trying to decide what the best flexibility exercises might be. I probably should just have done some yoga rather than sitting on a seat moving a mouse.
50 minute brisk lunchtime walk
We had some bad family news in the evening which totally derailed our plans, i missed a planned hour's walking and ended up comfort eating but I was mindful and actually managed to adjust my day around it so I still ended my day ok.
I've disconnected my Garmin and MFP accounts, I have grown very frustrated with the automatic calorie adjustment being applied to my MFP goal, which I regard as very inflated. I'll have to manually log exercise into MFP again, but that's no big deal (and I can be a bit more conservative with the numbers).

Spent a couple of days away. My wife and I each lost 5 pounds for August so we rewarded ourselves with an excursion. We stayed in a place called Far View Lodge. From our window or our balcony we could see like 60 miles distant. Possibly more.

Happy to check in with Yes x 3!
Thank you for your kind and motivating words @120maggie and @craigo3154!
Our weather temps really dropped today and we even got a few very welcomed sprinkles of rain. I actually sat outside and let my body soak it up for awhile.
For my exercise, I danced to my newest Zumba DVD. Three years ago I drove into Los Angeles where I took an all day class from Gina Grant. At the end of the fun (and exhausting) nine hours, I had earned my license to teach Zumba classes. I've never used it, but one of the perks is that I receive a new Zumba DVD every other month. I still feel like it is Christmas when I get a new one in the mail!
I was sore in all the RIGHT places today and that felt great!4
