Good Morning!
Connie convinced me (sorta) that I'm being a poop about seeing the doc. She especially says I'm being a poop because the main reason that I don't want to go is that it will add an hour of driving to my day. I will call the doc. My RA symptoms are pretty mild. I'm 57. I don't want this to get a lot worse, just because I'm not seeing the doc regularly. I still want to eventually run a marathon, and enjoy my 60s.
Beautiful weather in KC. Praying for the folks down south.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
I hoped to go for a hike in the high contry, today, but we are under a pall of smoke (again) from forest fires - mostly from Oregon, but some local, too - and there are no views at all. So I'll stay home and cut wood, instead.0 -
Oh poop Steve ya had us at poop. Hope your arthritis is ok. Do good all.0

Good Morning! Steve we could probably have a thread on being a poop according to our DWs! RA is something to be managed to avoid issues later. Check in with the Doc. I had a long talk with my dietician yesterday about getting moving on weight loss and my Docs request to be careful with my carb levels. She repeated an idea she had made before to very my intake from day to day to better fit my schedule or to at least very my carbs but to still make sure they total correctly for the week to allow for a calorie deficit. Since she knows MFP and that I was a premium member it was pretty easy for her to give me some ideas. Yesterday was a low day and I nailed it until I realized I forgot to track some sliced pears I served with our dinner. Sometimes change alone is enough to get you going.0

Late check-in here. Been vacuuming under the bed and other forbidden places that haven't seen a cleaning in ages. Fun, not, but needs to be done.
Tinkering with my ancient trolling motor last night, I rigged up an electronic gizmo that controlls speed without the motor's speed switch and saves a lot of power. Or so I'm told. $15 on Amazon and a few connectors from hardware store plus a tupperware container. It works! At least in my living room.... Now to field test it and maybe wet the fishing line.0
