I'm up early dog sitting. They live way out in the middle of nowhere, then turn left.
Had a great date with ds1 last night.
Not much going on today. I have a lot of little projects that need done. I might work on that list.
Church later this morning.

I think I know that house, Kelly.
This is my last Sunday off for summer, then I start leading worship music again. Last year they had me on for 1-2 weekends each month, but this year I'll be doing almost all the services. I'm scheduled for all of September and October, so far. My goal is to try to get more people from the service into the group, too ... there are a few new singers I've found, 1 new guitar player (he's just learning), and a possible drummer. We'll have to see how it all pans out.

Good morning BBB.
So, we have the grandkids for the weekend, as their parents are working on their house. The pleasures of living in a 109-year old home; there is always somethinmg that needs work. I need to go over and help with a couple of trim issues, too.
Yesterday evening, my friend arrived with the big pieces of cherry: four sections of the trunk that weighed about 300 lbs, each. We strapped them to a dolly and got them around back to my log cutting area. It will be a challenge to cut these things up with my electric chainsaw.
It is the season for church music to start back up. I have my first practice with a new choir on Thursday.0 -

Not much in store today.... Made some BLT's for dinner last night and turned the furnace on - as the temps dipped into low 50"s (unseasonable for us this time of year).

I worked on a ton of little projects yesterday, so hopefully today will be more relaxed. Church this morning, then maybe work on the truck later today. Must get the tail lights working!
Lisa, I just have great admiration for you. You have a ton of energy, and are simply an inspiration.

- Had a nice Satuday. Toured the 'hood in the golf cart and talked to neighbors, took a dip in the pool and watched the UGA game.
- Last night we watched the "Going in Style" remake. Fun.
- Off to church this moring to work in the A/V booth.

Good Morning BBB.
We arrived at Tom's shop about midday yesterday, dropped the trailer and unloaded the Mini Moke which I drove home with Tom following me in the pickup and thenunloaded personal stuff into the house. I settled stuff into the house and Tom went back to the shop to work on a project that needs to be done over the weekend.
Tom may go pinstripe at a Harley dealership in the Milwaukee area - they wanted him to do it but he had committed to the event in Virginia - he let them know that he is back and available so we will see if they use him - they may be so busy that It may not happen.
Mary - if Tom ends up going to pinstripe in your area I'll call you and we will meet up!
Lisa - what a testament to your many talents - overflowing class attendance and on demand for music every Sunday - you are amazing.
David - those hunks of cheery wood sound like they will make beautiful bowls with your abilities. I know that I am not alone when I say that I would like to get in line to buy at least one of your bowls.
Kelly - we drove through your area yesterday and waved - I hope you felt the love. Too tired emotionally and physically to stop and visit. I know you understand.
Bill - I have a feeling with your design eye your CO townhouse will be featured in AD.

Let me know Raine, not sure what SO has in mind today, he's still asleep.
Cold and rain kept this passenger home last night reading my book. SO and crew rode to the HD Museum festivities.
Did some gardening Sat. That's about the only fall project on my list. Clean the gardens out and pray the new grass comes back in spring.
I see on news N. Korea is at it again, sigh
