Pour yourself a mug of your favorite morning brew. Pull up a chair and join us for our morning roll call here on the BBB.

Unbelievable that I'm starting us off again. I'm out here in the middle of nowhere letting a dog out.
Busy day for me.
Make it a great day. Enjoy your rest from your Labor if you have the day off.0 -
Mornin' BBB.
Sorry about the confusion, Babe will be running this coming weekend, not this holiday weekend. Keep those positive thoughts coming.
DS#1 and GF here with their cat and dog. Smoked ribs and brisket, chicken breasts, pheasant, and grilled jalapeno poppers (so much hotter than expected). DW made her famouse cheesy cornbread, guacamole, and grilled corn.
Still in a food coma. I went WAY over my daily calorie count.
Rained heavily all day yesterday. Sun is out today. Nice. Might get boat out on lake.
Ditto Mary on victims of Harvey and global peace.
Lisa, that is a big job running the Sunday music program. Your talent and energy will be a huge success.

Good morning BBB Friends. Got the chance to put a few miles on the motorbike yesterday. Taking advantage of the day off to have breakfast with the ROMEOs. Labor Day cook out at the Clubhouse this afternoon. Enjoy the day!1

Good Morning!
I've worked on several projects this weekend, but for some reason, I've found that relaxing, not taxing. Have several things on tap for today, including driving down to see my dad, and get the latest mail from him.
Everyone have a safe holiday!0 -
Good Morning BBB.
Yes - thinking of the victims of Harvey and continued prayers for world peace.
We live among over 70 oak trees and each year they are different - this your they are dropping lots of huge acorns - I have no idea what it means.
Kelly - it's nice to have you up and starting us off.
Lee - sounds like an ideal meal - food coma worth every calorie. Sometime you just have to go for it.
Dennis - even a few miles on the bike is wonderful. Enjoy your breakfast.
Lisa - your talent is limitless.
Steve - have a good visit with your dad.
Mary - looks like Tom will not be at the events this weekend but he will be in contact with the dealership to pinstripe there soon.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Morning Gang~
Stayed up way to late to watch the races....glad to have slept in a bit.
Dennis, glad you got the bike out!
How is you DF doing, Steve?
What on the agenda for Labor Day, gang?
Quiet here. May make it out for a walk somewhere with DW later.
Cheers,0 -
Good morning BBB.
Busy day, yesterday, or a tiring one, anyway. I spent several hours in back sawing up some of the cherry logs into usable size pieces. I still have to seal them, so they dry slowly, withlout cracking. Then I drove over and picked up another load. Finally, my friend knocked on the door in the evening, with a few large pieces of Hazelnut wood, from two more trees he removed. I'm really looking forward to working with the Hazelnut (Filbert, to us oldtime Northwesterners) It is very white, and very dense.
No plans for the holiday. DDIL's sister is going to come pick up the grandkids. I'll spend some more time with my chainsaw trying to reduce the pile of wood out back. DW and I plan to take off for the coast, tomorrow, after the crowds are home.0 -
Yawn, good morning !
Nice breeze coming thru the house, just relaxing, reading, with coffee, enjoying the quite.
Not planning on doing much of anything today besides a few chores.
Try to get a weekly meal plan together... bored with the same old.
Enjoy a day of no labor everyone!

You go Kelly. I am getting the other kind of bike out today to make up for eating too much yesterday.0

Lee, can I come over for dinner? I'm drooling over here!!! YUM! I've never had pheasant, but I'm sure you make it delicious. The cheesy cornbread sound decadent.
You are the social butterfly, Dennis! That's awesome!
Steve, I am totally with you on the relaxing project thing. Painting the deck was my therapy this weekend.
Raine, could be the warning sign of a future plague of squirrels. Hopefully your house will sell quickly!
Skip, you're out walking? Be careful!!!
Sounds like you won't be bored, David!
Whatcha reading, Mary? I'm into a really unique book right now ... called "My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She's Sorry". I am loving it! Incredibly creative.
Enjoy the workout, Bob! Take lots of water ... I hear it's warm there right now.
I'm on the world's slowest chat shift at the moment. I could downstaff (it's being offered), but I'm not giving it up because I get holiday pay for this. So, I'll just post on other websites between chats.

Lisa, Im reading about metabolism and obesity. Doesn't that just sound glorious. Made this afternoon a low fat, low carb veggie soup, its in the crock pot. Im now heading out to put some minutes on my bicycle, even if its only 15 min, its better than zero minutes and a nap instead. Off I go, hi ho - hi ho.0
