Sheesh, yesterday was busy! It's a good thing I like talking. When you add all the Getting-to-Know-You meetings that I did with my regular WW ones, I did 9 meetings yesterday. 3 more WW ones today, then Bible study tonight, then off to visit friends in Ohio. Woot!

    Good Morning BBB.
Wowzer Lisa - you are up early! That is a lot of meetings!
All day monthly training today is starting with a meeting where our leadership is going to explain why we did not get deployed and then open it up to discussion. Interesting.
    Do good out there everyone.

    Good Morning,
Hope all got a GREAT HUMP in yesterday.
Lisa, it is good that you are caring and love people
    Lee, enjoy your day off.
We did not hear from Lou yesterday, hope he's secured the job of his dreams.
Dave, how's the new toy working out, how large can you go?
DMIL is trying to drive DW crazy, she hovers over her all the time and likes to tell DW how to do everything. DGKs return to school today, many in Lake Country still without power and some told it could take another week. Problem is many without power are on wells which means they are without water also.
    Tis TGIF Eve!!!
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Sounds like an interesting meeting today Raine.
    • Busy, busy Lisa makes a happy, happy Lisa.
    • DW has a mammogram and visit with her surgeon today. Always makes me nervous.
    • I feel fortunate to have power. Like Sam said many in the area still do not.
    • Had a chat with boss yesterday. Retirement could be in the next few weeks. State promising a contract announcement before the end of the month.
    • I'm with Lou.

    Good morning BBB.

Getting a lot cooler around here. I had to put on a sweater when I got up this morning. The low tonight is supposed to be 40 - and they are talking about snow levels in the Cascades. I guess summer is over.

The new lathe isn't here, yet, Sam. I have to make room for it first. It will be able to turn a 16-inch bowl, over the bed. It is heavy, too - 530 lbs. - I'll need to enlist help for assembly. Fortunately, DDIL's dad lives close and is insanely strong (hey, I'm 17 years older than he is).

    Good Morning!

Lisa - Wow! That's a lot of meetings!
Dennis - Praying for your wife that all comes out well!

Raine - Thought about you and Jack last night. Attended MADD Victim Impact Panel, where my wife was speaking. These always have a Sheriff's office presence. There is a deputy who has a K-9 unit. He has to leave his dog in his car with the A/C going, because he cannot bring him into the building. If the dog were in the building and "hit" on drugs, then they expose the department to problems of improper search without warrant, etc. Made me think of you and Jack, all trained up with no place to go. I still applaud what you and Jack do! I get worn out at these things, and I don't even speak. There was one person there, it was their third time. Why do people still have the privilege of driving after multiple convictions? I don't understand why, as a country, we still allow this!

    Have a great day!

    •Wow Lisa you rock.
    • Glad to have Raine ready to go
•Good Ts&Ps for Dennis' DW tests
•Steve I totally get it about multiple offenders as I was a paramedic/ambulance driver one summer out in the booniès. One ģal we picked up had at least 3 convictions but pleaded she needed to deliver newspapers. Took her to local tiny hospital, patched her up, and straight to jail via sherrif.
Hugs to all BBBers . Off for walk soon.

We had to get mandatory restrictions and sentencing here in GA but they still get around it by allowing a plea to lesser charges.
They were advertising with pictures of those convicted of DUI for second and third time as required by law, now they claim it violates their rights. Like our rights are not violated when they repeatedly are out driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.

    Good morning.

Sam, they'll make their decision in their own time. I can't really push them along any further. IIRC, there are two of us and I had my last two interviews last week. It was quick turnaround to get me into those interviews, so it's possible that the other candidate hadn't had their chance and is going this week - it was dependent on a remote VP's travel schedule. So, we sit and wait and keep following up with headhunters and sending resumes into the ether.
