Looking to be more balanced

Gained close to 10 lbs in a matter of 2 weeks. Trying to eat healty but somehow I am slipping up and gaining.. I don't want to be fixated on the number but my ultimate goal is to be more toned and weigh less at the same time. Suggestions?

Gaining weight can be an indicator that you're replacing fat with muscle, or putting on more muscle. It's not always a bad thing. But I get where you're coming from- I hate seeing my numbers go up too. Try focusing on things like how your clothes feel (are your pants getting looser?) and not so much on what the scale says.0
