Fitbit steps taking away from calorie goal?

Why are my Fitbit steps taking away from my calorie goal? Shouldn't it give me credit for exercise and allow me to eat more calories throughout the day? Maybe I'm wrong?8kcvo48ptv9i.png

    That happens when your MFP goal is not sedentary. You'll get negative calories until you have enough steps/calories burned to match your MFP activity.

    I'm active on MFP and start at -230 calories or something.
