Do You Believe in Ghosts

This thread was created in the general forums and was subsequently deleted for reasons we can speculated by not know. Fortunately we have a group where we can discuss whatever we want without worry of that so a big thank you goes out to emmydoodles83 and poisongirl6485.
Any of you that have read my posts already know that my position is going to be that they do not exist. So I will instead address one of the most vapid responses that I keep repeatedly getting when I say that ghosts do not exist.
"Well, you don't know everything."
If you believe in ghosts that is fine present your evidence or your argument and we can evaluate the strength of your claim. Just don't try to site the fact that I am not omniscient as proof that your claim is legitimate. I expect that kind of flaccid thinking from the general forums but in a group centered around debating lets try to hold ourselves to a higher standard.

I don't know... I haven't seen one... but I do believe God, His Angels and Lucifer, etc. so whose to say there aren't spirits roaming around here all the time.
I don't follow the thinking that just because I have never seen one physically means they don't exist. I haven't seen "aliens" either... but they could still exist.0 -
Well actually your position regarding ghosts is pretty close to my position regarding God, angels, and Lucifer. Like the ghosts I have not had any direct experience that would give me knowledge of their existence. This puts me in a position of tentative agnosticism. When I have been exposed to the evidence of course I will believe but it would not be rational to arrive at belief prior to the evidence.0
