    Good morning, all!

    The LV thing is horrific. So are the hurricanes and fires and hate. Too much suffering. I just read a very insightful book that I recommend to all: Braving the Wilderness by Brene Brown. It's about being true to ourselves, even when that means we stand alone, in kindness and integrity, in a very polarized, "sorted" culture. I'm on my second reading of it right now.

    I have a WW leader friend from Wisconsin coming to visit this week. I can't wait!

    And I'm missing Dd21. One and a half more months until I get her back!

    I get to see my chiropractor today. I always enjoy a good spinal adjustment!

    Good morning BBB.

    Today is LD - Lathe Day! Delivery should be sometime this afternoon. If I can't bribe the driver to put the crate in my shop, my DS, DDIL and herf dad will come over to help wretle it inside. Assembly will be tomorrow. Then I'll get an electrician in to complete the power thing.

    Hi, folks.

    Interview went well. 1 hour and 45 minutes. With a full bladder! He asked what my schedule was this week to meet with the CEO, so I take that as a good sign. I should hear back today or tomorrow.

    RIP to those lost in the LV tragedy - so sad, senseless. Scary to think its really becoming our new reality, these acts of hate. I don't think social media has helped this country/world at all, in so so many many ways....

    and also RIP Tom Petty - we just a month ago watched a documentary on Netflix called Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers: Runnin’ Down A Dream - its worth the watch....

    I find a couple of $20 bills in a handshake TYPICALLY gets you what you want with those types of situations, SGM! No need giving yourself a hernia!
