    Good Morning!

None of those colder mornings here, yet. Rain tonight?

Just crazy busy at work. It is quarter end, and there are a ton of other things to get done.

I'm for Lou landing an awesome job, and I'm with Dennis, as he winds down a career, and launches a new chapter in his life!

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning,
    Happy Humping,
Tomorrow will be full moon but folks must be getting prepared early, crazy driving this morning. Tractor trailer tries to run me off road by drifting into my lane, pickup refuses to move over when I pass on right he starts riding my bumper with me going about 83 mph. VW in left lane slows down to 66 riding beside others cannot see taillights of cars in front of them, after about 11 miles VW wants to get over to exit, so glad folks in right lane made them miss their exit. Dennis, this is what you are going to miss.
DMIL went out yesterday and purchased her some tequila so I would make her margaritas at home, says they cost too much out. Had to explain I was not going to start fixing her a margarita everyday.
    Praying all works out Lou.
    Safe travels Steph.
Trust lathe is delivered and in shop, waiting to see what it produces.
Sleeping in bed is good, trust ribs are better where you can breath deeply.
Last week got flu and pneumonia vaccine, every joint and muscle in body was aching, glad it is finally getting better; now know why I had not gotten before.
Yoga this afternoon, several new folks have signed up; maybe some of others will be out, room is getting tight.
Still have not seen HJ's commercial in TV, but then again I don't watch that much TV and may not pay enough attention when I do.
This must be National MADD week, events going on in Atlanta this week also.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Good morning BBB.

THe lathe finally arrived at 5 last night - after they told me it would be here around 1. I don't know why My shipment is always the last one off the truck. Anyway, the driver and I managed to push the box up the driveway on his pallet jack and maneuver it into the shop using a pair if appliance dollies. Son and daughter-in-law will come over this evening to help with assembly.

Commuting drives during rush hour are one of many reasons I have never missed work since retirement. You'll love it Dennis.

    Good morning.

After driving 1.5 hours to the city for an interview this morning, I echo David's sentiment.

The interview is at 10 with the same group I interviewed with on Monday. Today I'm meeting with the CEO and an undetermined number of other players. Will try to lunch with a college buddy when I'm done.

    Afternoon BBB.

Slept in til 5:30, then discussed Yankees/Twins game with DW who had been up since 4:30 and was fully caffeinated. Then discussed some business stuff. This is how my mornings usually go before I walk the dogs. Had to leave early to drop off truck at mechanic for service and take a loaner to office.

    I'm with Lou!

Tomorrow will be more dog training on my day off. This field trial business is time consuming.

Raine, any word on the house? Ever consider renting it or rent to own?

Sam, I could not deal with that commute. Its why I live and work in rural community. And your DMIL is right, margaritas are too expensive out.

Dave, hope that new lathe is going together easily.

    BBB OP ;-)

drain the lizard ... that's funny

    Good luck Lou

Rollover car on the commute in yesterday, thank God the drivers all seem to be standing on side of the road. Amazing if indeed no got seriously hurt. The car's roof and front were totaled. yikes, scary. I won't miss my second half hour on the drive into downtown. I'll be years though, til retirement. But then, who knows.

Nice dinner last night with ds2 and gf. Im really starting to get to know her, and like what I see !

DS1 is flying in to town on Sat. night to celebrate his 32nd bday with me on Sunday. I have not seen him in person on his birthday since 2003. I'm so excited! I ordered him cake. LOL We are having forced family fun (FFF) day on Sunday for the Packer game, at his uncles as well - they'll be 20 of us or more in attendance. I'm the only one that knows he's coming, too (well SO knows, but that's it)! So fun! After this latest horrific Las Vegas attack, I need to see my boy in person, I miss him!

Be well, be safe, be kind BBB

Enjoy the evening, its gorgeous here today! Perfect warm fall day! The leaves are starting to turn colors!

Forgot to mention - TWO hour General Membership meeting at our VFW Post last night. I made the motion that we continue the practice of NO NFL on our televisions until such time there is a chance in behavior and a valiant effort to honor the flag and anthem. Some 90 minutes of debate finally brought us back to the motion - which passed! We are seeing tons of businesses (sports bars no less) take the same stance here. Despite its fractured appearance, the DC region really is made up of Patriots (and a whole lot of veterans)!
