    Great day shopping yesterday. Really did hunting and gathering.
    Church this morning then I think we are starting to paint the kitchen.

    • I'm not sure retirement has set in yet. Next week should do it.
    • Expecting lots of rain from Nate today but we need the rain.
    • Working AV at the late service today.
    • Started researching Medicare. Has anyone notice it is alot like algegra? A+B+D=C+D therefore A+B=C or in this case A+B or C.

    Not a fan of our current system - but applaud the efforts. Why we do not have a single payer system is boggling!

    No hurricanes in the Pacific Norhwest. We do face earth quakes and volcanoes, but no hurricanes.

    Have a guy coming over this afternoon, to look at my old lathe. Right in the middle of the Seahawks' game, but worth it, if he buys it.

    Ds1 had to hop a bus from Chicago Ohare, to Milwaukee, last night, as connecting flight got delayed, then cancelled. But he's here! Glad he didn't wait around! Looking forward to a great family fun day on his bday

    I could tell you why we don't have a single payer system but it would probably end up with us getting into a big argument and I wouldn't get invited to your birthday party and then my feelings would get hurt... Nope, we're not going there.

    Good morning.

    Race went well. The after-effects will linger for a few days. Rolled my right ankle at mile 4, shorted out my allegedly sweatproof headphones, etc. But Ryan - the guy I suckered into doing his first HM - finished and seems to have caught a bit of the wellness bug, so mission accomplished.

    Speaking of bday cake.... Ds1 has a yellow butter layer cake with lemon custard and strawberry filling, vanilla butter cream frosting, decorated with his two fav Wisc teams, Brewers and Packers. It's my surprise, if I can transport
    It there, without him seeing it. Lol

    We are off to a multi stop pottery tour. We decided not to bike it as round trip is 50 miles and still wanted to get some chores done today.
