Best cardio exercises for explosive endurance

What do you feel are the best exercises that lend themselves to the type of cardio needed in a fighting a match?

I'm going to vote jump rope.

    As far as basic cardio goes, here are 2 more candidates:
    Fartleks (I wish my knees still allowed them)
    Tabatas

    As far as fight specific endurance training, it's hard to beat these:
    Shadow sparring (Spar your own shadow.)
    Flow sparring (No resting allowed. You are expected to be attacking 2x as often as regular sparring in continuous motion)

    I never heard the term Fartleks before, interesting. Read up on it and it sounds like most HIIT sprinting protocols. Thanks!
