I'm only doing 3 of my 4 meetings today, because at around 2pm we're leaving for Detroit to go see a Redwings game. It should be fun! Dh got tickets from a vendor who was woo-ing him.
I hope the seats are good! But either way, it's fun to do something different!

Yoga this afternoon, Lisa it is called suffer through it, sorta like fake it till you make it. Bowl of ice and water tonight. Next week will not have class which I hope gives it a chance to heal.
Cold coming in Sunday with temps below freezing at night, not helping my garden and wanting sliced tomatoes for Christmas.

Gotta love those vendors. The hard part is, now is the time of year when those vendors bring cookies, candies, and other treats to the office. It is a hard time of the year at work to be trying to lose weight!
Still trying to get past this danged cold. Ugh!
DMIL went home yesterday. Thank you all for the kind words. Perhaps now, she will stay out of trouble for a little while.

Looked at a new house yesterday that DW and DMIL are excited about (ugh).....

My cold is much better - Yay! But I am only halfway through the wood turning project - Boo!. This repetitious stuff is no fun, at all.
I need to get some things done for the holidays, too. I want to have small, handmade gifts for each of our guests on Thanksgiving, to kick off the Christmas season. I need to get those done no later than this weekend.0 -

I have 9 coming for Thanksgiving. I need to invite one more, so the table is set for an even 10. Or we can let Maddie, ds2gf's labradoodle sit with us LOL. Im buying her a dog bed and a water/food bowl and toys for at my house. Poor dog isn't allowed on the furniture (at our house, but is at home) and we have hardwoods in most areas, she needs a soft warm landing somewhere by us.
Im ready to start decorating for the holidays. But shall wait until Friday the 24th.

Have to go to Mazda dealership at noon for a replacement headlight bulb. Gotta love these cars where the engineer designs the car as such that you need dealer service for a darn bulb! errrrr.

Good evening, folks. Or, those who catch up before posting in the morning.
It took TWO HOURS to get there - because of three drops of rain - but I can confidently say I nailed the interview today. It was a joint interview with the CEO and CRO (which has become a thing recently). I already got a note asking me to take a call with their outside accountants. The big question is do I want to take a job where a routine weather event makes traffic that nightmarish at 7AM? Of course, let's see if we can close the deal first.
The job is neat Comiskey and I'm in Deerfield - for Raine's benefit to judge the commute.0
