As the holiday activities become overwhelming in their frequency and fellowship, here's a reminder that there will be life and the UAC after the holidays. The January UAC discussion post is ready for signups.

So everyone is glum as the snow has melted. Lol not I !!! I am so happy the snow banks are down everything is clear I can handle the next batch. If you don't deal with it and just look at it and say oh how pretty you don't realize how much work there is.
Yesterday I dropped off Wilberts Xmas gift & told him to save it for Xmas. He is 86 and starts to tear up and says I always save anything I might get as I am alone on Xmas. OMG just broke my heart. My mom goes you can't adopt every stray. Nope but I can make sure there is something under their tree so they don't feel all alone.7 -

Calories?: Yes

Very late walk today. This is why it was shorter than usual.
Extra strength work tonight to make up for the shorter walk.
Really looking forward to next week (and a break from work).
@RangerRickL. Count me in for next month.
@2020pinktogo. You really are an angel.

Yes x 3 Kitchen is closing early tonight. I will be in maintenance next month but have signed up for and will continue with UAC if you all don't mind. UAC will continue to be motivating for accountability; although I definitely won't make the winner's circle for January as we will be away the last couple of weeks in January. It will, hopefully, be warmer where we're headed. If I'm able to login and track while away, I will continue to do so, but it may be spotty at times and improbable at other times. Does anyone have good suggestions that worked for you for a way to keep track of food items, portions, etc. (since I won't be in a position to weigh food items as I usually do) to obtain reasonably accurate calorie amounts on the go?1

3rd day in a row with both a morning and afternoon workout complete. I love working out. Walking, jogging, circuit weights, Kettlebells, TRX, HIIT. ❤️ it all. Working out isn’t hard for me, it’s the eating. Thanks to this group for holding me accountable to logging and staying under my calories and being accountable. Another day of hitting all 3 goals!4

I walked The Wetlands this afternoon for the first time in what feels forever. It was blustery and it got dark quick but it’s still my favourite place to walk in Vegas.
I have signed up to join the NY Eve Wetlands walk and I have signed up to be a ‘Wetlands Walker’ in 2018. Here’s what it says on the website…
Wetlands Walkers is a self-guided program to help you reach your fitness goals while walking in the beauty and serenity of nature. Participants walk the trails in the Park, track mileage and earn rewards at milestones. Walk the trails with friends, family, or on your own. Each year, the program focuses on a different migratory species that migrates through the park. The goal of the program is for all participants to collectively walk the distance that the focus species migrates each year.
I can’t wait!6 -

My favorite part of this day was when my grandson, Evan, asked me,"Grandpa will you snuggle me tonight?" I was at my daughter's home. I immediately jumped at the chance. He is 8. My granddaughter, Lucy, 12 came by his room and peeked in and said,"Grandpa when you are done, come and snuggle me!" I did. Super day.
My report:
Calories; under by 400
Tracking: ok
Exercise: easy walk for 20 minutes. Tomorrow will be cardio5 -
