    Calories?: Yes
    Tracked?: Yes

Early morning walk before work and 35C (95F) day.

Looking forward to the break over Christmas.

(No snow in sight at 95F, but the evenings thunderstorm and hail bought a little bit of white :) )

Not sure how many are still hanging on. Between travel, being sick since the first day of vacation (Saturday), and the lousy internet not been in the loop. That's right the first day of a really amazing vacation I have been sick. I think it was the lobster tacos at a downtown Los Cabos, restaurant that did it. So have lost half my vacation. The rest of the group have been fishing, snorkeling, seeing the sea lions and today taking a trip to swim with the whale sharks. Sadness as I think about not being with them. My husband stayed with me yesterday. Poor thing we took a local bus to downtown. I felt so bad I didn't feel like walking on the marina or shopping or walking to the marina or eating or anything but I did. Quiet sure I wasn't the best of company but he was so sympathetic. I had to stop several times. I didn't even feel like looking around the shops. So not like me!! I am so glad the ones that are with us are having a great time. I don't want to ruin thier vacation. It's the first time for them. We've been here and will be returning. I know my body so had to obey its rules so I could get better soon. I woke up today with no rumbling tummy. Feeling like myself. So happy!! I won't overdo it but I still have vacation left!!
So far have been able this month to maintain my good habits with only one pass day. Thank goodness. Go me at least that is is going as planned.

@windowqueen2003. Glad you are starting to feel better. Being ill on vacation really does bring you down.

You have had a great attitude throughout (wishing the best for others). Also great that you husband stuck with you.

Hopefully you can enjoy the rest of your holiday.

    Go you.

btw, I am still hanging on. (though busy final rush to end of year).

Yes x 3: 12,000+ steps on village walk with DH. My biggest fault is a craving for sweets...and I continue to try making healthier sweets. Two weeks ago is was chocolate chip cookies without flour and butter. Last week it was a recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies made with white beans. This week it was chocolate brownies made with sweet potatoes...and the regular standby is numerous variations of energy balls. If it's not homemade goodies of sorts it is frozen yogurt (vanilla or chocolate) in miniscule portions of 36 grams or less or pudding. Manage to stay within my calorie limits, though. I'm assuming there are others like me who need a touch of sweet every day...sometimes more than once a day. Anyone else out there who needs a daily sugar fix like me?

@w8goal4life I don't have a sweet craving. For me its the salty cheesey combo: pizza is temptation #1.
Today's report...I worked a long time. I'm like @craigo3154. Everyone wants something done before Christmas. Next week, I'll be the only lawyer in the firm. All of the 5 young attorneys will be off. I'm updating a book for publication this year.

Excercise: yes 45 minutes of strength and 30 of elliptical
Calories: logged and in limit (barely)

Today was a struggle so I spent some time setting up my fitness journal for 2018, looking up body weight excercise to do while traveling for the holidays, and reminding myself that I didn’t want to be out of this challenge so it wasn’t worth wasting my last pass day!

@MzRuthy - sorry to but in on your post. I am interested in the Leslie Sansone DVDs as from what I've heard they can be low-impact but challenging. Is there a particular one/ones you would recommend?

@w8goal4life I like a cake or biscuit with a cup of tea. Currently, Ozery snacking rounds are my go to, they remind me of hot cross buns…

I went to the post office today to post my international Christmas cards. They won’t get to the destination on time and considering I’ve had them written out since November, I should have done better. The road to hell is paved with many an intention!

Exercise ✅ weights and rowing machine
    Calories ❌
    Logging ✅

It has been so stressful and I was finally able to slip out for Christmas shopping after my husband’s dr. appointment. I was surrounded my coffee, yummy food smells and candy. I was still on track until I walked into my door and the smell of fresh baked cookies slapped me in the face. It put me over. So I had a couple more. Then I added a celebratory drink. If I was going to take a pass it was going to be worth it.
