Ok! It's December 8. That may not seem to be a big deal, but we know from past experience that if you are still reporting in, then you are on your way to Success!
You would be amazed at how many people begin the UAC and don't make it this far. Since you are still with us! Hurrah for you!
Well done!

@w8goal4life My daughter went to RIT She is now doing her graduate studies at UB. I never minded the drive to Rochester except for winter break that wide open thru way was terrifying when a storm would hit. We lucked out too every town around us got hit but we only got 6 inches. my parents are 10 minutes from me and they have 2 feet. It's like the wind picked up and scooted those snow clouds out of the way Yep I am happy as my husband just made a path so I could get to the house. I said why didn't you shovel more and he said because you do it.
Well today is my long day time to get ready for work. Have a great day!!3 -
December 8
Exercised?: Yes. 5km in 38 mins (hills)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Two walks today. First to go flying (3km - not tracked). Second for walking (tracked). Well over 10,000 steps.
Brisbane next week Thursday and Friday.
(Still reporting in after 5 months )
It is interesting to look at the number of posts in each day as the month goes by. This month has had so far: 54, 44, 52, 42, 44, 36, 29. This is a normal progression. By the end of the month, UAC often has less than 20 per day.
Daily consistency is what makes this challenge the hardest of any on MFP. The difference is that if you maintain it, you are more likely to succeed in your long term weight / health management than from any other challenge.
@pears734. Summed it up beautifully on December 6.Creating healthy habits is just like exercising a muscle, the more healthy decisions you make, the stronger your will to make those same decisions again. Just because you have a bad day, doesn't mean you failed. Just let it go and try again next time. It may take time, but practicing healthy habits will turn into a lifestyle on its own.
This is what UAC and MFP is really about. Healthy habits. (and great people who help each other.)
I also love reading how everyone is doing. So many are doing so well so far this month.

Joints are still aching, found a rub that helps a little. Will be talking to Neurologist about something to help. He took me off of Tylenol and Advil to help alleviate migraines which it has only lessened that by 2 thus last month. I think I would rather have the 2 migraines instead of this constant aching/burning. My pain level has reached the level of 8 per day rather than a consistent and tolerable 5. Thought losing over 75# would help with that, but alas it has not thus far. Arthritis seems to be my nemisis!3 -

I started out the day assuming I’d take my first pass but everything went haywire and I ended up not using it.
We were supposed to be celebrating my son’s birthday a night early because they were supposed to be having a homecoming dance the next day and I have to work all day. It snowed. We couldn’t go out to eat before the roads got slick and they canceled the dance.
I had so much running around before it got bad that I missed lunch. We ended up picking up pizzas and the stuff to make a scrumptious cake and stayed in.
With having already saved a large portion of my calories to out out to eat - canceled - and no lunch, I was at a major deficit and enjoyed pizza without going over. The cake is for breakfast.

Went shopping with my mum. What’s special about that you may ask… haven’t seen her for 14mths and it was so nice just to hang out with her. We also went to see the Cactus Garden at Ethel M Chocolates, they do a phenomenal lights display this time of year.
I’m struggling to check in right now as I have a houseful of Brits and they are go, go, go!2 -
Yes x 3 again. Had a good morning in the village at the annual "telethon" - a fund-raising event involving the local fire brigade. They were supposed to be doing car-washing by hand for a donation, but I'm not sure how they managed to stop the water from freezing. Got a nice Christmas wreath for my door, and some greenery to make table decorations.1
