Hello. Not sure what to put here. Guess I'll just introduce myself.
I'm Mich, the creator of this group. Been on and off vegetarian/vegan my whole adult life. Now attempting to go full vegan(as best I can, anyway) again.
I have fibromyalgia, so my work out goals are pretty small. Working my way, though. Interested in pilates, yoga, going for walks, etc. What little bit helps.
I have a son, who's diet is almost opposite. He has issues with eating fruits and vegetables, but we're working on it. Because of this, I won't push veganism on him.
3 pets. A female Betta fish and two cats, who I brought into my home before deciding to go vegan. I believe bringing animals into your home is a promise and commitment that you'll care for them until the end of time(unless circumstances are extreme, and you must find a new home for them), so they're staying. Since cats are built to be carnivores, it'd be horrible to put them on a vegan diet. So, of course, I have to give them meat based food.
I also leave food out for my local strays. So many loose cats in my 'hood I haven't seen a rodent in years. SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CATS, PEOPLE!!!!!
That's all I'll say for now. Happy eating!
