Good Morning!
Back to the busy grind this morning. This time of year is so busy it is hard just to enjoy the season. I am still working on how to find my Zen, and just slow down.
Have a great day!0 -
Good Morning,
14 shopping days left, less if shipping involved. We are done except for one more item, just hope post office and UPS get all delivered; I can thankfully say we have not been in any stores shopping. Of course when we get closer to Christmas we will have to visit grocery store, we live out where we cannot get groceries delivered.
Hotlanta was not so hot this weekend, ground still white and spots of ice on roads.
Hopefully getting wrist, hand and arm fixed tomorrow. Gave me fits most of weekend.
Hope colds are better as well as backs. Getting old is not for wussies.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am

Mornin' gents.
On the road and feeling old.

Good morning gentlemen.
I prefer to shop in stores - locally owned ones best of all. I want to see and touch what I am buying, and keep as much of my money as I can i my local community. And I can't imagine letting someone else pick my vegetables and meat.
Good luck on the hands and writs, Sam. Mine are a problem, too, so I empathise.
Need to get presents for DS and DDIL. I'm thinking a really good bottle of single malt scotch and a cashmere sweater, but DW is doubtful.0 -
Morning all. Been busy last few days. Heading to electrophysiologist today for follow up to see if cardiac ablation is for me at this point. Afterward, see dentist about getting bridge dismantled and abscessed tooth pulled. Fun day all around.
town is all covered in white. We got 6" saturday and roads were hellish. Got new tires for my rig after sliding all over and not stopping at intersections; and it handles quite well in the snow now.
Be well all. And peace amidst all the shopping and whatnot.0 -
Good Morning. Slept like a rock yesterday, 9 hrs. But it was an active weekend for me. And I spent more time on my feet than I have in along time. The opiod pain meds do certainly improve the quality of my life. But the budget is one per day so I have to use it wisely. Sore from the weekend, so today is limited to a small grocery shopping trip, and trying to straighten out the living room and get the tree up with my sons help.
Sam - praying for success with tomorrow's procedure. Happy appendages that don't continually distract us are a good thing.

Agree with Dave. I too prefer local when I can get it especially picking out my own food.
Hey Mike good luck with the electrophysiologist. My brother-in-law is getting his ablation about now I think
Best fortunes to all with their pains and medical stuff. Stay safe all.0
