low blood pressure

Is anyone out there having really low blood pressure with dizziness? I've been especially tired this morning so I took my blood pressure to find that it was 89/45. Normal for me is a little higher than that, around 95/52. I know I'm active so my blood pressure is normally a little on the low side. However, I don't think it's been this low before. I know I;m getting enough sodium because i track it, and I almost always go over on it. Also, drinking tons of water, so that can't be the problem. About ready to head out the door for a walk with my daughter, and wondering if I should just lie down instead.

I also have low bp. But I think dizzy spells are a standard pregnancy thing. You should probably double check with your doctor, though.0

Yes, me too! Even though it is healthy to have low BP in pregnancy, it's really annoying and it gives me bad headaches. For me, having a cup of black tea every day helps against the headaches and I think any caffeine helps. Also, my sister who's a midwife, advised me to add some salt to my food! All the things that are bad for people with high blood pressure help us feel a little better, basically.
Hopefully your BP will rise as pregnancy progresses, I am counting on it..!0
