New year, returning Runner 5

So I've off and on been using Zombies Run for the past year (I've had it for years and formerly got through a good chunk of season 2 on my first outing), but returned to it because I love the story and the accomplishment from completing missions. Did my first run of the year starting on season 2. Looking forward to running with all the other Runner 5's out there.

Haven't really been all that good about getting out the last two weeks. Between work stress, fatigue related to TotM, and poor weather, I haven't had a lot of motivation. I've sent up a schedule that has me going out more so hopefully I'll get some more missions in.

I am just finishing my C25K program. I have 4 runs left and should finish Jan 22. After that, my plan is to get more ZR happening as well!

    Best of luck to you.

I just started this app the other day, and joined the Virtual Race Spring 2018. Glad to find this group.

I did the Halloween race and loved it (Hubby and I play in a tabletop rpg group). I'm planning on joining the spring race as well.

My runs this week have felt very zombie apocalypse with the icy weather and early mornings.

So far I've been able to get out with temps in the teens. Hard to keep my speed up, but I'm doing it. And everyone thinks I'm nuts. People can't be convinced of how much you heat up. Looking forward for steady temps in the 50s, though.

I definitely understand that. I used to go running in sub-freezing temps with little more on than high socks, skate capris, a T-shirt, and a hoodie (plus mittens and maybe a hat). But that was back in Nebraska where winter was a constant. I actually prefer running in the cold since I have a dodgy knee and the cold seems to soothe it more than heat. I just miss being equipped for it, but with Houston maybe getting ice and snow one week a year (though it's looking to be more frequent), it's hard for me to justify gear that rarely gets used.
