Setting monthly weight challenges for myself.
Please motivate & I'll motivate you too

I've a harrowing total of 70lbs to lose to get to my ideal weight range BUT I'm aiming low & slow.
So for January I've set the first months challenge at ... 10lbs
If it goes over, I'll be ecstatic as I've been trying to shift weight for the last 5mths! (unsuccessfully!)

Feel free to friend me if you need a buddy or encouragement, I know I do.

What am I doing to shift my weight?
I've cut out almost all carbs. No rice, pastas, breads, cakes, biscuits etc...
Most root vegetables have carbohydrates to that is my source but even there I've cut back.
All unnatural sugars have been cut from my diet. No sweets, chocolates, syrups etc...
No processed meals, all home made. So no sausages, black pudding (yum!), no take aways.
I've cut out all oils & fats for this month.
All seasonings & spices I use are natural. No stock cubes, teriyaki etc.
I eat boiled eggs or I scramble them in the microwave.
The only meats I'm eating are lean beef, chicken and fish. Shrimp for Sundays <3
And I'm spiralizing veg to replace pasta. Finely chopping cauliflower to replace rice & if I add an egg or 2 with a little seasoning, I flatten it out bake it & then top it for pizza night. So I don't feel left out o:)
I started yesterday but starting any day is a good day!

Well, yoga is my thing (or was :s
Going to get back into it at home on my Wii Fit & also do some of the other games on it too to keep it interesting...
I've a dog who has to be walked, so instead of "strolling" along, I'll be putting alot more acceleration into my dog walks.

My big challenge will be to try and hold a basic plank for 20seconds
every morning before I leave my bedroom for the month of January 2018...
