    Good Morning!

    Into work really early. Supposed to go from 45 degrees this morning, and rain, to "flash freeze", and ice within the next hour or so. All of the local schools are closed today. Could be interesting today.

    I won the lottery yesterday. Crashed the entire computer system when trying to do a year-end update. Thought I was going to be fired. Turns out to be a bug in the software that Microsoft knew about, but had not figured a patch. We had to re-do all of the work that had been posted from 7:30 to 2:00 yesterday. My team is not amused. Neither am I. Thank you Microsoft!

    Caught only one fish late in the day yesterday, but a giant lunker of a bass unlike any I've ever seen. Made my day. Got lots of leg workout snowshoeing all over the pond, and day was cold but sunny, so was sweating from ice-chiseling holes most of the day. Great time until slush froze to my snowshoes and sled as we were ending the day. Stars were coming out as we finished up. Rain coming tomorrow will mess up nice snow we have on the ground.

    I feel your pain, Steve.

    Just got off the phone from trying to get in to see a doctor in "my" clinic at the Army hosptal. The first availability is on the 22nd. That isn't very helpfuI, when you are calling about an illness or injury that needs treatment, now. I was told I could seek help at a Medicare approved facility off-post. Up to me to find one. After 41 years of being cared for by the Army medical system, I feel like I am being kicked to the curb.
