There were 28 people on yesterday’s 6 mile desert hike. It’s so much more fun to exercise outdoors and with other like minded people.

Yes x3.... lots of eating, loooooads of water, and lots of running errands around town collecting food, race registrations, compulsory gear checks all ready for tomorrow’s event.
My team of 4 runners will cover 87kms in the hills and forest...and looks like it will be rain too. My segment will be 24km..that should earn me a few extra snacks!10 -

I decided that untill I find a suitable fitness center I'll walk every distance I can as long as I have time to reach my destination. Public transport is a nightmare here anyway.

It’s 6p.m., but I am going to call it a day when it’s still good (hopefully will deter me from eating afterwards!)

Calories: so far so good, 200kcal remained (not counting exercise calories)

Today’s the first time ever since Jan 29, I didn’t try to talk myself out from walking. When I stick through it instead of making an excuse not do it, I feel good afterwards.5 -

Yes x 3 with indoor exercises, again! If our children, their wives and our 5 grandchildren didn't all live within 15 miles of us...I don't think we would continue living in New York! I best count my many blessings, instead. Not everyone is so fortunate.
@fightingthetideofaging I hope that 2 hours and 20 minutes is done in phases. I'm exhausted just thinking about it!4 -

I had all of you in my head again! I did a lot of errands and driving around today so didn't get to exercise until almost dinner time. If you all hadn't been there I might have slipped, but I got on the exercise bike and pulled a solid 25 minutes then cooled down for 5. Earned that shower and enjoyed dinner more. Thanks!5 -

Pass Day #2
Still not well, feeling depressed and tired. Probably stayed under calories, but didn't track and got no exercise. Pick myself up today and try and get out and about.4 -
Pass day #2 for me. No problem with exercise as I spent a lot of time trying to contain a horse in my garden and stop it rushing out into the lane (rural, quiet, but perhaps because of that people don't always take as much care as they should). Of course this had to happen when snow was coming down quite hard (for here, nothing like what a lot of you are having) it was freezing, and I'd rushed out in just indoor clothes and slippers! By the time I got back indoors I was frozen and a bit stressed, it was mid-afternoon, and somehow didn't fancy the nice healthy salad lunch I'd planned. So some comfort food and wine was had instead. Probably not massively over calories but way over carbs so I know my weight will bounce up and I'll be disappointed in myself (again). Still, tomorrow is yet another day...6
