Has anyone cruised Alaska? If so, any pointers?

Ketchikan is a port for a lot of Cruises. Fishing and Orca watches. I have an old childhood friend who lives there and has a boat for hire.

Kethican, Skagway and Juneau are all stops with Princess. Make sure you get in some glacier cruising. It's difficult to know how to pack. I guess my advice is to GO.

Even a day trip cruisin' outa Seward is well worth it for the orcas, glacier calving, and wildlife. Agree it must include some glacier watching.

I got a new cruise book today. Looking at it and studying it.
Trying to decide where to go and what to do.
