MFP not updating fitbit exercise data

I went for a run/walk last night and burned 620 calories but this will not sync to my MFP account. I have tried unlinking the two accounts (from both ends), logging a fake exercise to force a sync and my exercise still won't show up. I left it overnight and this morning logged the exercise in MFP manually but it still won't show in yesterday's plan so I'm 33 cal in the red even though I should be almost 600 up! Any suggestions? I've got an Ionic and it's been behaving fine for the 5 weeks I've had it.

Are you seeing any kind of calorie adjustment from Fitbit? The adjustment comes from your total calories burned, not just your exercise calories.0

No, there's nothing. There used to be an adjustment on my home page showing calories I'd earned from exercise/steps. Now there's nothing. I even out in a fake exercise of 2000 calories to see what would happen and it didn't show up.0

Same thing is happening to me, just started yesterday. I actually came to website to troubleshoot. Maybe a bug in an update?0

You entered this fake workout on MFP or Fitbit?
And if on MFP - you mean your synopsis equation line showed no exercise done?
Do foods from MFP show up as meals on Fitbit?0 -
Make sure your mfp is updated. This Is reverse for me. Just got my charge 2 and In order for my fit to recognize my workout I have to put a start time in mfp0

Why would you be logging a workout on MFP?
Yes, you have to use the start/duration times for it to sync over to Fitbit.
But considering the whole purpose of the Fitbit is to track activity - why create a workout on MFP that is just going to replace what Fitbit came up with?
True, some exercise is best done that way when HR-based calories is wrong formula to use - but you didn't say anything about that.0
