That means we are through 1 month of winter. Woot woot! Only a bajillion more to go. But this is progress!

That makes me think of Valentine's Day, actually. I need to start planning. We're going to do our big fancy dinner on Saturday the 17th, but I have no idea what gifts I'm getting anyone or what I'm serving. Hmmm ....

    Good Morning,
    Safe travels Raine,
Down to 3 days for Kelly,
    Steph is leaving when?
Lisa's visited us two days in a row, OH MY!
I felt like that little puppy Lee posted yesterday.
Having major muscle cramps, CK levels elevated, blood count down and thyroid off doctor says don't know which is causing. I do not care; fix it.
We have a group of turkey buzzards that roost in trees behind house; DMIL is fascinated by these buzzards. Why they roost there and why they always face our house. I've tried to explain to her that she does not move enough for them to think she is alive, they are waiting. Yesterday afternoon she came upstairs pointing out buzzards flying out and around when they normally are beginning to roost. I told her she upset them, she walked upstairs and moved through room letting them down, they were ready for supper.
    Enjoy the Day,
    Sam I am

    Morning!

Sam - DMIL and a yard full of buzzards.... A sign perhaps? When they're done there, can you send em' North for another main course and dessert? JK!

Long night. Didn't get home until after midnight! Oi!

Showing yesterday went well! They're coming back Thursday night for a second showing so perhaps this will be a "one and done" client! That'd be awesome. They inquired about a contingency and we said no - and it didn't seem to turn them away!

    How many days????

Lisa - V-Day....thanks for the reminder!

Safe trip Raine! Let us know how you're all faring!

    Cheers,

    Good Morning BBB.
We are outta here! We will hit the road at 8am - just after the big rush hour. Put final stuff in Tom's truck, put last stuff away at home to that house in shape for showings and open houses, and hook up the cargo trailer.
    Lisa - you are amazing.
Sam and Dennis - we will be stopping for the night south of Atlanta. Funny, last year we could not find a room anywhere, poultry convention in Atlanta, construction and other workers in all the hotels along with displaced people all the way down to Florida - we slept in our truck in a gas station parking lot. I’ll start calling when we get going and find us a room ahead of time!
    Kelly - 3 days!
    Do good out there everyone.

So.. I never actually got to eat my Holier Than Thou lunch yesterday. We had to make a "quick stop" at the bank at noon that turned into a two hour adventure. After the bank stop, it was straight into a meeting followed by a return trip to the bank. Before I knew it, it was 5PM and I hadn't eaten lunch. It's a good thing I brought a banana with me yesterday.

I'm still waiting to catch a groove of some sort at work. There's always a new fire popping up of some sort and I have yet to be able to do any follow up on things I've started. So, I need to pull back on new initiatives lest I find myself drowning in a sea of my own tears. Yes. I'm drinking coffee, so that makes me a bit more poetic.

Raine - I just figured the chickens can hang out in front of the hotel or something. Didn't realize they need beds and showers.

    Good Morning!

Hang in there Lou! I am very happy for you that you are working again! Drink lots of good coffee.

Anybody see the Super Blue Blood moon this morning? Anybody care?

Happy and safe travels to those fleeing the north, in favor of the south. Have a great trip, Raine and Kelly (who is NOT counting days.)

    Have a great day!

Drive safe Raine, Tom and Jack!

I forgot to check the moon at 7:09am as they suggested. Busy this morning, even my oats n fresh apples and coffee is getting cold - geezzz.

LOL, the inlaw stories make me giggle. I must have been one lucky care giver having lived with my xh's Grampa when he was from 89-94 yrs old moving into his house with my xh,
ds1, dog, & ds2 baby on the way to care for him and keep him in his home instead of an elderly facility. He was a wonderful kind, smart, loving man. We got along great. Some of the best years of our marriage were while we lived with him. I think dh was on his best behavior living with his grampa lol.

Lou, seems like the party is over, if it ever started! Drink coffee, lots of GOOD coffee.

    Have a great day BBB

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Steve, like Bob I caught the super blue moon last night while walking Emma at 11pm. I did not get up early for the bloody mary.
    • Short honeymoon Lou. Enjoy employment.
    • Raine, I would suggest I meet you for dinner but I know what traveling is like. You make your schedule as you go. Travel safely.
    • Skip, when my house sold quickly and easily I began to think I underpriced it. With all we were going through at the time it was a blessing. Good luck.
    • I got the memo. I have been selected to serve on the HOA finance committee. The developer is letting us in.
    • Going to go see my stroke recovering friend today. No speech but other than that doing well at home.
    • Have a great OP day.

Congrats, Mr Finance chair. Be careful what you ask for

"early" and Bloody Mary - in same sentence usually connote something much different than looking up in the sky.....rather looking at the bottom of a nice highball glass

    Good morning BBB.

Up here in Baja Alaska we rarely see the moon at all, from October through March, so I had no inclination to get up at 3 a.m. and scan the sky. I can see the bottom of a cloud at a more convenient time.

    Hi all.

I missed the moon in both ends. Went to bed early with a headache (and the help of NyQuil) so missed it this morning too.

Vacation starts next Thursday so a little over a week. Only one business trip left. So much to do before hand.

Meeting a former coworker for a beer tonight. Have my day all planned as I am out of weeklies after a bout with a bag of m&m’s yesterday.
