Buyer rescinded their contract last night over HOA! He was upset they HOA prohibits the parking of trailers and building of sheds in back yard. So the games begin! We are back on market!

19 degrees outside. Wintry mix yesterday afternoon is now rock hard. Good thing I got out the tractor and shovel last night before it turned to concrete.

Sorry Skip but can't blame them if that is what he wants, our HOA is very strict also but decided would adjust before purchase; some have purchased without reading HOA then are really upset. Another buyer is out there it will work out.

Dennis, clean yard? What is HOA doing? Are you cleaning yard like a friend stroking check to HOA?
Dave; try chitlins, tripe, sweetbread and mountain oysters; all these are considered a delicacy by some. I've tried not knowing before I ate, were not bad but now choose to pass.
Rain yesterday and I still had 11 in yoga class; DMIL showed up, she did not do as bad as some in pass, if she will keep it up it will greatly help her.

Have a safe trip, Steph. Think fondly of those of us who are about to take 8-10 inches tomorrow. And those aren't pênis inches. Those are snow inches. I'm going to talk to the boss about working from home tomorrow. Y'all have heard me complain about the train enough to know that they stink even on a clear day.0 -

Night one sitting at DN's for Mac is in the books. He chewed up his bed inside his crate by the time I got there at 4pm yesterday, they had only left him at around 1:30pm. He's not crated when anyone is home and has his own bed we put in the room Im in. He opted to sleep on my bed, with me. sigh. Im a pushover and just let him be. Outside 3X this morning and a walk before I put him in his crate and left. If he chews up his blanket while Im gone, he'll be in an empty crate with just his bones/toys tomorrow, I guess.

Sorry about the contract, Skip. Been there, done that. I second the question about ernest money.
So mild, yesterday, that DW and I spent most of the day working in the yard. I did all the edging, repaired two sticky gates, fertilized the lawn, and applied moss killer. DW mowed and cleaned up in flower and shrub beds. Back loosened up, so I wasn't too gimped up.
We built in our neighborhood because there were covenants. Our problem is the HOA lacks enforcement teeth. There is no mechanism for fining violators.0 -

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Up early making breakfast for the Methodist Mens group. I'm ready for a nap now.
- Bummer Skip. It is good that people understand the HOA restrictions before they buy. I hate people who complain after the fact. I'm at the point in life that I like neat and tidy with minimal work on my part.
- Yard work Monday was trimming some trees and bushes we planted. Totally optional on our part.
- Steph, vacation finally arrived. Enjoy the warm weather and the beach. You too Raine.

Funny comment about being on your HOA commission, Mary!
I see many pets for stress related maladies when owners leave town. Poor pet sitters signed up for more than they bargained for. Some pets need a little anti anxiety medication when owners leave town.0 -

Mac didn't tear up his blanket. We got a good walk in and play time. He's happy. That's why I figure I might as well let him sleep in the bed with me if that makes him happy as long as he moves over LOL. No need for either of us being under any stress. He's still getting acclimated to life in a regular house since he basically spent his first year kenneled up 24/7.
My coworkers already hinted to a snow day tomorrow so it might be Mac and Me here. Big snowfall expected here during the night. Did I mention these kids dont have but one shovel, that's it, no snow blower, no salt , no neighbor with a plow lol. I can only hope if I go out in the morning they'll be a neighbor willing with a snowblower, as I wave good morning across the yard
