Good Morning!
Lee, watching your own dog get zapped, even while in training, must be akin to watching a day care provider spank your own child. Very difficult situation, even if everyone clearly speaks the same language, let alone having a language barrier.
Yep, still dealing with water just pouring down the street, and no fire suppression. I demanded to speak with a supervisor yesterday, and did not get that opportunity. Cowards! Today is Friday, so the weekend crew should be back today to finish the project. We are supposed to get freezing rain tonight, and snow tomorrow. This could get interesting again. Sigh.... I have noticed that the city seems to only be able to put out the largest fires with regard to the aging and crumbling infrastructure. They simply don't have the resources to respond to a complaint of a small bubbling amount of water, like I first reported several months ago. They came out twice back then, and closed the job each time. To me, it costs magnitudes of 10x to fix a completely collapsed 8 inch main, rather than put in a new valve when a leak first starts. The bean counter in me don't get it. And I know it is not just Kansas City that does it that way, I understand that cities across the country face this every day.
Have a great day!0 -

Good morning gentlemen.
Suffering a bit from cold-like symptoms, today. I think it is a seasonal allergy of some sort. Every year in mid to late Feb., this happens. I'll take an antihistamin and drive on. Maybe this is another harbinger of an early spring.

Afternoon gents.
Enjoy your walk, Bob. Feel better, Dave.
Yep, don't mind her getting "spanked", Steve...just the timing of it. Hope your water situation gets handled today.
