    Morning~

Welcome HOME and to the den of lies.......Hope you had a great excursion!

Steph - how was the realtor showings in Roatan? Does BBB have a party house in Honduras?

Proofed (not poofed) the flyers and website ad yesterday. We go live in MLS in two days. Let the games begin.

Finally drying out here - four days of rain was a bit much. Hearing 70 degrees in our forecast for Thursday! Woot!

    Cheers~

    Mornin' BBB.

My response post to Bob's trip to oncologist post on Cup of Joe thread got poofed yesterday. I made a joke about misreading "oncologist" as the "-ologist" that is gender specific. Oy.

Hope you got a great report, Bob.

    Welcome back Kelly!

    Good Morning,
Heavy mist requiring wipers all the way in this morning.
    Welcome back Kelly!
Dennis, safe travels, have a great time.
Here's to selling homes, may great offers come in today.
Dave, hope you are feeling better.
Lou, since day is going to be messed up any way just stay home till you've had your coffee.
DMIL and DW got into it as I walked in last night; DMIL had brought some stuff up from downstairs and was spread out taking up half of counter space in kitchen area and more than likely would have taken all if DW had not already started supper and had what she was using on counter. Now we generally fix balanced healthy meals, for some reason I reckon DMIL does not like what we prepare and always insist of fixing her something else to go with what we prepare. Neither I not DW have a problem with her doing her on thing; but if she is going to do her on thing she should do it in her area of house and not bring everything upstairs to mess things up. We set her up with a kitchen, dining area, living area, bath and bedroom downstairs; this are is not tight and has plenty of natural light as well as lighting. Yet she insist on hauling her stuff up the stairs to spread all over and not clean up. Last night after she had gone downstairs she had left used kleenex on table beside sofa, two pair of shoes in floor, three coffee cups on counter including a paper cup she has been playing with several days. She insist on cleaning up kitchen after supper yet that does not include wiping counter tops, table or sweeping kitchen and under table. For some reason she can make a larger mess under table than our 2 year old grandson. It ended last night with DMIL saying maybe it was a mistake moving in here and DW agreeing maybe so. Bet DMIL has no intention of going anywhere else.
    Enjoy the Day,

    Good Morning BBB.

Steph - cant wait to hear how the realtor touring went.
Kelly - have you rested up from your cruise?
Sam - sounds like situation is getting worse not better - sorry about that.
Lee - the poof-police are working overtime - seems they are more sensitive than WW.
    Do good out there everyone.

You'd think there are more interesting groups to monitor than us, wouldn't you?

Heard back from the mechanic. Bad news. It'll be at least $3,000 + parts to rebuild the transmission up to $5,000 to replace it outright if the parts tab gets too high. I mean, seriously, I just got my first paycheck in over a year and BAM!

Yesterday, I decided that my predecessor doesn't ever want to meet me in a dark alley. Or even a well-lit alley. I tripped over a non-profit no-no while trying to help the president create financials that he can actually use (instead of the kind designed for IRS reporting). So, that chewed up a few hours with documenting, curing and explaining the issue to everybody and their grandmother what had happened. It's a 'win' in that I found it and not the auditors a few months from now, but dayum, I need something to work on its own for a while. KWIM?

    Good Morning!

Hang in there, Lou! We are cheering for you! Sucks about the transmission.

Kelly, welcome back. Remember that Skip is in the DC area, so you have to watch what he says about spoofed threads very carefully!

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning BBB!

Kelly! Welcome back. Tell us a few of the best parts of your vacation and anniversary!

Steph, whats going on there? Find anything of interest?

Skip, do you have to disclose the house fire on your listing/condition report? Just wondered how that was being handled, no need for any bumps in the road! I know for us, it was a big issue. In the end it worked out.

Lou, are you fixing the car, or replacing it?

Sam, big sigh. Maybe she can share time with her other daughter half the year?

Shuttling kids to depart for their depart to Europe this morning so Im out of office a couple of hours, oh darn ;0)

Raine, enjoy Yoga, beach walking, sunshine and all that goes with it!

Dave, I've been looking for a wooden salad bowl set to serve 8. I'm hinting to my SO he take up turning, LOL. He's not biting.... does some woodworking, just never did turning and knows nothing about it....

    Enjoy the day BBB

    Great question.

The ad says "Fully Remodeled" - truth in advertising, right? Haaaa

The answer is yes. I have a clause that OUR realtor pre-screen any showing candidates to be pre-qualified and fully aware of all the remodel updates as a result of the house fire. The buyers will have access to a compendium (word of the day) of permits and inspection reports to make an informed decision. The realtor brochure starts with: "BRAND NEW HOME in 40-Year Old Community" - truth.....

Lou - drop the Fusion repairs and spend your loot on a new whip! I'm sure Cecelia would want you to be happy!

Mary, I'll bet if you got SO a new lathe he'll be more likely to take up wood for you.
Lou, if you know a used car dealer; ask them who rebuilds their transmissions and if they would get yours repaired for a couple hundred more than their cost.

    Good morning BBB.

I am always willing to encourage other new wood turners, Mary. Tell your DH it's adictive, though. I won a large piece of cedar in a raffle at a club meeting last fall and turned a 14-inch wide, seven-inch deep bowl I gave to my DDIL for Christmas. I didn't make any matching serving bowls, though.

    Welcome back, Kelly.

    Sorry about the car, Lou.

•Wow Lee didn't think I could make a post go away. My oncologist is a great lady and I got a better than expected (at least by me) report. Lymphoma cell (b-cell) levels back to where they were a year ago.
    •Sorry about your car Lou.

Sam, I agree, dmil isn’t going anywhere. Sounds like a 15 year old kid leaving stuff everywhere. Sorry!!!!! So sorry!!!
Good luck with the people moving.

Raining here now but Ron got in kayak around the bay while I had morning coffee on the pier. Hopefully it will blow over soon.

The multi-unit property was pretty run down. The owners only spend 1 week a year here and it shows.

The second property had amazing views and was all open air with a pool and outdoor bar.

Not going to buy either. It feels like vacation here not home.

    Steph,
What’s wrong with your home feeling like a vacation spot?
DH and I are seriously looking into buying a house on Florida’s gulf. Actually, down by Raine. Englewood. Just in the talking process now.
