I've got the gifts bought for our celebration, which will be Saturday, and the meal planned. I still need to write the love letters. Today is my long day, though, so probably not today.0 -

Update - We ended out contract with the real estate agents and will set up interviews for when we get home to choose new agent and more forward to get our house sold. I think our house was too unique for our agents.0

Happy Valentines Day and a spiritually meaningful Ash Wednesday as appropriate.
I told the mechanic my tale of woe about how I hadn't gotten a paycheck and 15 months and the car dying three days later. More or less begged for leniency. We'll see.
In the meantime, the furnace went through four cycles last night without the fire catching properly, so I'll be bringing the HVAC guy out today or tomorrow to have a look at it.
Drinking coffee from the new coffee station today from my travel mug that i *remembered* to bring home yesterday. Unfortunately, the coffee is what Roger Ebert once described as "Terrible." I have new pods on order - 50% off when you register the brewer - so I'm hoping that what I bought will be better than what I picked up in the Office Max store closing clearance.
Sorry you had to dump the realtors, Raine. I hope you find a new one better suited to a place like yours.0 -

Have an early appointment with a hand specialist, this morning, to discuss my thumbs, then delivering valentines to our grandkids.

- Made it safely to Savannah yesterday. Staying in a nice boutique hotel. Groupon came through.
- Dinner last night was Shrimp and Grits at the Crystal Beer Parlor. Don't get much more Southern than that.
- Out with the old and in with the new. Realtors that is.
- It's beginning to look like a house Skip.
- Lou, try the Donut Shop kcups. My favorite. Right up there with Starbucks but cheaper.
- We are headed to the Savannah Roasters coffee shop and then a day of sightseeing with friends.

I ordered those, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and some tea with my discount. Hopefully, I'll find a winner.
Tomorrow, my strategy is to brew the swill as an 8 oz cup instead of 12 and see if that makes it any stronger. I can drink bad coffee if it's strong, but I can't suffer through weak stuff.0
