Somehow I'd missed the thread about Nolan. I'm praying NOW!
Dennis, we need you to come help with tech at the service I lead. Last night during the first set the computer crashed and we ended up with no lyrics ... ugh. So I ditched the last song that we'd planned, and instead we sang Amazing Grace acapella. Everyone knows that one, right?
Did all you nascar people enjoy the race?
Kelly, what were you cooking? Prepping the week?

Did I tell you that the meeting at the rehab house went well? I can't remember, but I thought it did. Everyone participated nicely, and we had a great conversation. There were 9 ladies plus me. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all unfolds through the months. :)

I was going to tell you all to enjoy your Monday, and it occurred to me how many people dread Mondays. I truly hope that you all don't fall into that category ... life is too short to dislike our work that much.

And we're OFF! Hugs all around!

    Mornin' BBB.

    Prayers continue for Nolan.

What a fun V-day dinner party! Thanks for sharing the pictures. Beautiful family.

Some have today off, Lisa. Its President's Day. I am going to work and I would miss it if I didn't get to do what I do. Just wish sometimes I could just take off when I want to.

Does that camper van have a bathroom, Steph?

Any bites on the house, Skip?

Made some slow cooker salsa verde pheasant yesterday. Served over a mix of brown and wild rice. Good eats. Made the salsa verde over a year ago from my own tomatillas and jalapenos and put in freezer. Last of it. Guess I'm gonna have to grow tomatillas again this year.

    Good Morning!

    Adding prayers for Nolan.

Lisa, you are doing great things!

I am working today. I'm tired for some reason, and even skipping my run this morning. I may or may not get the run in this evening. Most Mondays, I'm OK with going into work. Today will be OK, because one of our vendors is bringing in lunch for the office team! I'm coming up on two years in my current position. I love it, and feel very blessed.

I made a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup yesterday. We have not had that very many times this winter. Awesome!

    Have a great day!

    Good Morning BBB.
    Praying for Nolan <3
I love every day - Mondays are equal to every other day and they are all great!
Up very early working so that I can take a few hours and go kayaking with the girls.
    Meetings this afternoon.
Weather in FL this month has been perfect - high 80s during the day and dropping to 60s at night.
Lee - that stew sounds great.
Lisa - I bet everyone loved the signing.
Steve - I hope you get your energy back.
Kelly - not sure if we can afford intercoastal but we are going to check the options - at the very least we will live on a canal. We are not ready to live in a restricted community :D
Steph - building your own camper van sound like a fantastic idea!
    Do good out there everyone.

This is the type of home I would build or buy if I was to live near the salt. Plenty of room underneath for a pinstriping shop and/or an RV.

    Morning~

Had a great time at VFW for Daytona spread! It was a good party!

Since going live in MLS last week we've had 6 showings - no offers yet. And we all know that patience is one of my best attributes! :#

Few hours of class work today - then relaxing. Hope to get a showing appt from realtor whereby its a holiday and nobody is working here in the beltway.

Nice house, Lee! Thats got salt and sun written all over it!

    Cheers

    Good morning.
    Lee, I like it
Raine, the only reason for the over 50 community is that all is taken care of for us.
    Monday’s are ok.
Super busy week. Big painting job starts today.
    How is Nolan??

    Morning gang

We are very torn about having a porta-potty. Would be convenient but also a hassle to maintain. Of our research it is about 50/50 on others having them. In the picture from yesterday it is in the bench by the side door.

Only an outdoor shower is planned.

Headed to meet Mary for dinner today (and a week long stay in various parts of Wisconsin for work too). Not coming home until late Friday so going to be a long week

    Good morning

Nolan is having a hard time breathing. His O2 level drops too quick without oxygen. He will have another chest x-ray today to take a look at where the pneumonia is at. I spent yesterday with his big sister and she sure is a great 4yo girl.

They're talking a big huge ice storm here this afternoon oh boy.

Thank you all for your prayers keep them coming for this little baby.

    Good morning BBB.

Praying hard for little Nolan. And I'll add in Sam, too.

We didn't get the extreme cold predicted - it's 30 degrees on the backyard weather station. Supposed to be 20 tonight, though. A pretty good breeze continies to blow. That's a good thing; it keeps the roads dry, so there isn't any black ice.

DW has me driving her around, today. Always a pleasure to do, anyway.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Dave, it sounds like we traded weather. We are headed to 76° this afternoon.
    • I've got baby Nolan in my prayers.
    • Had breakfast with the ROMEOs this morning.
    • Enjoy dinner and your visit Steph and Mary.
    • I'm with Kelly. I like well maintained with the work done by someone else. You have to be willing to live with the restrictions though.
    • Wish I could help Lisa. Great work with the ladies rehab group. Some of us need a helping hand once in awhile.
    • I'm with the home sellers.

Ice storm predicted in my parts.Unfortunately I cancelled with Steph. I don't want to drive into the ciity and be driving vack home in the dark and ice. My area is on the ice warning list. The airport area and south expected big rains. Here, it's rain to ice....

    I'm staying put.

Next time I will make it work, Steph for sure!

Mary - you should check with your gynecologist. That doesn't seem right to have an ice storm - or any storm - down there. And if it keeps you from being able hang out with Steph, that's even worse.

I like well-maintained by someone else as well. Except that it keeps me from getting a dog. There's great appeal to letting the dog use your fenced yard as a toilet in the morning or when it's cold out. But, shoveling and cutting grass are not in my job description - especially if a backyard toilet is in play.

Used the brew your own basket in the Keurig today to good success. Not great though. It's an oily coffee, so cleaning the basket was a bit of work. At 6AM, it'd cross over to annoying

Lee - I love that kind of house too. Also looking at possibility of a side lot for Tom to build a toy barn / studio.
