Sam! Take care of yourself! I'm glad that you are past this episode. I will continue to pray for your healing.
Bill, and Mike, remembering you two for your colds. I still have a nagging cough that it seems as if I have had it for a month.
Dave, my father got his hearing aids through the VA. It may have been a sales pitch with mine, but I am led to believe that through the VA, the latest technology might not always be available. My dad has had his for some time without an upgrade. He can hardly hear. He turns 87 in March. My single hearing aid cost $3495. Insurance will pick up some portion of that after deductible. I am financing it 24 months interest free through Care Credit. I turn 58 in May, and I'm still working. I chose to get the hearing aid with all of the "bells and whistles", because frankly, I'm still too young to struggle with it. My hearing aid will even have blue tooth, so that I can get the TV directly in my ear, should I so choose. Although I can use batteries if I want, I will plug my hearing aid into a charger every night. I won't have to mess with batteries. I can control the hearing aid through my smart phone. We went with Miracle Ear.
Today is Connie's 60th birthday. I am taking a half day today, so that I can spend the afternoon with her.

Had the grandkids over last night, and they'll stay tonight, too. Always a lot of fun. I will leave them in Lola Rita's hands for a while, while I do some shop work.
I get by because I have two ears. My hearing is much worse in my left ear than my right. Occupational hazzard of Soldiers and Marines - closer to the muzzle. I'm 10 years older than you, Steve - 68th birthday is next week.0 -

Good Morning! Late check in. DS and I are still hacking away and zombie walking, though I have improved some. We are really getting our money out of Netflix. Sam I am glad there is some improvement, I suppose it takes time to recover strength. Praying for full recovery.
