So I had a really rough month in Feb due to a massive problem with work. I didn't log and didn't care. I weight myself last week and was horrified to see that I was almost 300lbs again and I haven't crossed that point in years and don't intend to go back! Whilst the work stuff is still really getting me down I'm trying to limit the effect it has on my diet. I don't know how well I'll do but that 299 staring back at me was a bit of kick up the bum!
Looks like everyone else is off to a great start! Well done everyone and good luck to those that haven't had their first log in this month2 -
Welcome back Pidge! Sounds like you've pulled yourself up before things got too wildly out of hand, and hey, you've already dropped 4lb in the space of a week! Great work!
Work is such a huge proportion of our lives that it can easily impact everything else - eating, sleeping, relationships, physical and mental health, you name it! I've had to quit more than one job that took too big a toll on me, like one that had my blood pressure at seriously dangerous levels (a week after quitting I had dropped from 170/105 to 125/80!) and one that completely destroyed me mentally and emotionally.
Keep trying to get back on track, with baby steps if you have to - slow progress is still progress! And know that we are all here to support you when you need it - weight related or otherwise!

Maintained last week, have probably massively gained this week with my little holiday! We had planned to do a lot of hiking and such to offset the holiday eating, but we got snowed in so spent a lot of time in the hotel by the fire, with warming drinks and cakes instead!1 -

So I've got three birthdays over the next two weeks (including my own!) all of which will involve lots of food and drink so my plan is to try and be on my best behaviour on the other days to even it out! I've been hovering around 295 for ages now and it would be great to start dropping again!2 -

So I was on holiday Saturday to Tuesday, including a big family celebration and lots of snowed-in eating and drinking. A sneaky Wednesday weigh in showed that I had gained 7lb in that time.
By Saturday morning I had managed to lose 6lb of that and was feeling (I think justifiably!) pleased with myself.
Then I took a major nosedive and the whole weekend I have not stopped eating. Seriously, my appetite just went insatiable. By Sunday morning (so in just one day) I had gained back 2lb (which is my official weigh day and so logged above). I'm sure that Sunday was far worse though, and I didn't dare step on the scale this morning to check.1 -

I just put up a whole, bright shiny new month's challenge. You don't even have to look at this number again because YOU GOT THIS!! Come over to the light side---we have filtered water....with little umbrellas.1

Well I was taken away on a surprise birthday minibreak on Thursday last week which would have been my weigh in. I've no idea what I'm at now so I'll just start the new month - luckily with all birthdays and celebrations out of the way!0
