Morning bbb.
At the airport headed to Houston. Going to be a busy. I rented a car this trip since I will be back and forth beteen the new store and corporate. Not looking forward to driving in the Houston traffic at all.0 -
Morning~
Safe travels, Steph!
Power restored about 8p last night - just before a scheduled showing that never showed up! Needless to say - we had a few choice words for the realtor. Two days without a shower can make one a bit punchy
Catching up on work today. Gonna be busy. Have a super safe and productive day, gang!
Cheers0 -
Mornin' BBB.
Safe travels, Steph. Houston weather should be nice this time of year.
Kelly, I rarely drink white wine anymore, but will drink if paired appropriately. My favorite go to red is Pinot Noir.

Wow. 100K less. That is quite a reduction, Raine.

Good Morning!
Spent almost all weekend trying to get past this damned cold and cough. Still have the cough, and not sure that I am feeling much better. I have not run since last Monday. Today will be a better day. I have not seen a doc, as I am hard headed, and I'm convinced that this is just a cold.
I hope that everyone on the East Coast has a chance to get things back to normal this week.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning.
Feel better steve!!
I too enjoy Pinot noir. Good stuff
Got my lunch packed and breakfast down. 0 points. Go me.
I have no idea what work DH has scheduled this week. I think it’s just some one man job lined up.
He has another huge painting job our profit will be over 7k. Hubba. Not sure on start date.
Later peeps.

Good Morning,
Steve if cold and cough has gone on more than a week or 10 days recommend seeing a doctor, DW found out she still has pneumonia which has not cleared up from before Christmas. She is hard headed also.
Skip, was your water off also?
Safe travels Steph.
Grandkids had a great time Saturday, DMIL said she could not believe I let them carry on the way they did; they only get together a few times each year and they are children and need to have fun. Plus nothing was hurt or damaged, none of them started crying or came telling.
Enjoy the Day,
Sam I am0 -
Good Morning BBB.
A bit of snow heading our way this evening.
Tom is designing a big a** sign - 4 x 8 - go big or go home!
Steph - safe travels
Mary - I get it about the lilacs to memorialize you mom but maybe we should talk about any other plantings you want to take from here before we move. We have incredible strawberry rhubarb from my mom - I have to research if it will grow in FL.
Pinot Noir was always my go to wine.
Steve - feel better soon
Bill - so sorry about the snafu
Sam - I hope you are feeling better each day.
Do good out there everyone.0 -
Good morning.
So, my takeaway is that Skip is a grower, not a shower.
We saw Cabaret out in the western burbs last night. A friend of mine heads up the theater, so he hooked us up with great seats. Then dinner at a Brazilian restaurant nearby that we found only because the place we were going to have dinner was packed and Google gave us the result under the old 'Restaurants Near Me' search.
Today's BB&B coffee sample is Peets Dark Roast. I'm not a big fan (tastes burnt), but it at least gives me hope that I can find an actual strong cup of coffee in a 12 oz brew. I did get the deal on the Donut Shop blend, so Cecilia is set for a while.0 -
It is to hot here for rhubarb doubt it will grow in zones 9 or 10, think tropical
I believe red wine goes with everything except white carpet.1 -
Good morning BBB.
Apparently Skip prefers stinky to cold showers.
Last day before surgery. I won't know my report time until this afternoon. DW has been doing all our driving, for the last two days, just for practice. She pretty much quit driving in 2010. She gace her car to our DS when he got married and my retirement a few months later made me the family chauffer. Now she only drives when I am injured or have a medical procedure. She does fine.0 -
Hi BBB
Dinner turned out awesome and we got to go thru some very old generational wedding photos with dsil, for I.D.s and dates. I am making a family tree wall of photos of both our families of paternal, maternal sides... great grandparents, grandparents, parents, us, our kids, and someday their kids. Why did folks back in the 1800's/early 1900's not smile on photos, geeez. Should be fun through pulling this together.
I will definitely take you up on the other plants, and rhubarb Raine. April early May might be the time for transplanting. I think a road trip to you is in order then!
Glad power is back on Skip, you smell much better
Sam, kids are suppose to do that over at their Grandparents! heehee
Is it only Monday.
Im calling a an at home snow day tomorrow if my area gets more than 4 inches of snow, it may be my last chance LOL.
Wow Kelly, that's some big bucks for painting, must be a huge job, as well.
Safe travel Steph - looks like its in the 70's! Last time I was in TX (Dallas) in Jan., it snowed, true story
Be safe, be happy BBB0 -
